King's Kitchen Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Maple Ridge

I wast sure about this when I went. I was so excited as they had ginger beef on the menu. Not sure if they just make it different around here or what. That was the fastest meal have ever received in a sit down restaurant. The meal was okay. I was really eyeballing the next people over meal and there looked DELICIOUS..... Mine was just ok. I asked for extra ginger and I think I got it but for some reason the sauce did not have that strong ginger flavour. This is a preference for me but I like my ginger beef crispy, maybe I could have ordered it that way....not sure. It was more like a sliced beef dish. The beef was excellent and tender but something about the ginger flavour made me 😞. It was a good portion and all in all it was okay. I have had ginger beef elsewhere where I walked out and never finished. This was not the case.....my quest for GREAT ginger...

On September 14, 2018 we ordered $118 of food and were looking forward to enjoying a nice dinner with company over. The food arrived quicker than expected which was great. We unpacked the food and discovered there was no lemon sauce for the lemon chicken and no sweet and sour sauce for the sweet and sour chicken balls. They go hand in hand. I called immediately and was told that they were really busy and it would be over an hour before they could send a driver to give us our sauces. I said that was unacceptable and they said I could come and pick it up. HUH? Then they told me I would get a credit. If they treat all customers that way they'll be out of business. So once the food is delivered too bad for you if we made a mistake. Pretty blah without the sauces. Poor customer service. Should have sent someone to drop...

The breaded chicken was terrible to much batter the kings style rice was terrible it was freezing cold like ice. It was strange for a place that's been around as long as this one you think they would have figured out. How to make rice by now. I ordered the dinner for five and a special egg Foo young which was really good. I spent over a $100 on this meal and was so disappointed if you haven't figured it out yet. Then you should at the very least make it right I never complained to the restaurant. I wasn't going back out in the rain all the way back to the restaurant so they weren't given the chance to correct it. So I guess basically let's see if this is corrected $100 is alot when two of the meals weren't any good. So I got a dinner for four which didnt feed 6...
