Originally just wanted to order a single dish, but couldn’t resist the set menu—includes a whole grilled fish, one meat dish, one veggie, a rice dish, and a pitcher of drink! You can choose any grilled fish priced at $45—we picked the popular spicy tofu fish. The flavor was rich and soaked through, the meat was tender and fresh. For the hot meat dish, we got the pickled pepper chicken giblets. It was sour and spicy enough, l very appetizing and great with rice. For the veggie, we chose Shanghai bok choy—simple and decent, with crispy pork bits that hit the spot. The rice dish was cured pork fried rice—super fragrant with fluffy, separated grains. Paired perfectly with the grilled fish. Two of us shared it and still had three boxes of leftovers—definitely a great deal! Covered dinner and lunch the next day. Also very kid-friendly. You can choose non-spicy fish—tomato-flavored grilled fish seems like something kids would love. The fried rice is great for little ones too. The owner said this set meal promo runs until June 15. Honestly, when you come here, the grilled fish is a must—loaded with flavor, heat, and aroma....

We came to Yu Grilled Fish House on a Saturday for lunch. The store was clean and bright. We were five people and we ordered a Crab Fried Rice Cake, Roasted Duck in Hotpot, Steamed Beef with Rice Flour, Fried Rice with Smoked Pork and Pickle and Baby Chinese Cabbage in Golden Soup. The Crab Fried Rice Cake taste good It's not spicy at all and it's a big dish with good amount of crabs inside. The Roasted Duck in Hotpot was a spicy dish as expected but we feel the portion was just okay. The Steamed Beef with Rice Flour took very long time and portion was very small. It's served in the steamer at those dim sum places. The Fried Rice with Smoked Pork and Pickle was great. We all liked it a lot. Very savory and tasty. And the Baby Chinese Cabbage in Golden Soup didn't even come because our server missed our order and by the time we found out the reason we all lost...

One of the best locations for grilled fish in town! We went to Yu Grilled Fish house on a wednesday because the place we used to go (in front of pmall) was closed. The decoration of this restaurant gives you calm vibes and it has a very refreshing atmosphere. The dishes are an explosion of flavour. We ordered the signature grilled fish with some add ons and the stir fried cabbage and it was very tasty and unique. For the grilled fish, you can taste that even the batter they used to fry it was well seasoned, very different from some places that the fish tastes bland. As for the broth, it was very flavourful, once again, different from most places that you can just taste the spicyness in it. Finally, the fried cabbage, it was surprisingly good and crunchy! This restaurant is a must try, and me and my family will be coming back once...
