Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Markham

This was Mother's Day 2025 at Tim Hortons after having a long day and just wanted to get home 1.5 hrs away. We went in so that we could use the restrooms and order. DISASTROUS from the moment you walked into the moment you walked out! The standard in this area is high, very high. Even for Tim Hortons. The doors were covered in fingerprints, the garbage inside to the right was overflowing, the washrooms were filthy (none of us used it), slow workers just LA LA LA LA LA la la......The best was when the woman was making my tea She reached in to grab my tea bag string and tag that had fallen in. HER FINGERS! She then brought it to me where I asked for it to be remade and it was. There was more to it, but it was remade. I dont know if it was a new team, or if they were just that disorganized, but it was really bad. The biggest upsets for me were the washrooms AND bare fingers (that hold all sorts of bacteria in our nails)! Who does that?! I would seriously love to hear from management. This experience has really made me wonder, how many times this...

Update: the management hasn't given me anything, but my drive through service I've recieved day after day has improved my opinion of this location. My morning routine coffee has been made day after day with consistency. I'm much happier than I was before especially now that they let me know when something is unavailable instead of just switching food on me.

Original: Made a complaint and was assured the manager would reach out to me, been nearly 2 weeks with no contact. They swapped my sandwich for another with different contents and made no mention of the switch, croissant for English muffin, sausage for bacon. On other occasions they switch your drink, somehow managing to give tea instead of coffee. Get it...

This location is definitely my go-to—amazing coffee, great food, and the friendliest staff around....
