Wendy's — Restaurant in Markham

Update Update: there salads are the WORST. They literally place two lettuce leave at the bottom of the container and throw on the toppings. They really need to have another Wendys in that area.

Update: went there again to give them another try and the EXACT SAME, female, drive-thru worker on 25-April 9:51pm did not say a word AGAIN. JUST SHOVED MY ORDER OUT THE WINDOW AND WALKED AWAY. They need to provide customer service training to their employees at this location. I rather spend my $$$ elsewhere.

Initial review: This location has the absolute worst customer service. The female who's always at the drive thru window doesn't have any manners & does not know how to greet the customers. Awful to have to deal with as this is the only location in Markham. They really need to train their employees!!! Upsetting and unacceptable...

So decided to add another review. May 23 decided to try their new combo #11 and the sandwich came with NO TOPPINGS! Just ketchup, mayo, cheese and some under cooked bacon. I just came here to get a drink. The lady at the counter told me I couldn’t just order a drink. I had to order a full meal. Then upon speaking to the manager, she was told that she could indeed sell me a drink only. Before she allowed me to order, she made me scan some barcode, go on the Internet and fill in a full blown survey. A customer walks in for a drink who is in a rush and here I am sitting at the counter filling out surveys. She was reaching over the counter touching my phone to make sure I was entering in 5 stars to everything. This is ridiculous. It felt so awkward and forced. I closed the survey after stupidly filling it out for 3 minutes when it dawned on me that this is not appropriate and should not be how customers are greeted and treated. I told the lady this is not fair and not right. She then turned around and made fun of me to her colleagues mocking what I said to her about it being unfair that you would make a customer do this when trying to quickly order a drink. She was forcing me to fill it out trying to tell me she would give me a free sandwich if I did...

Horrible! Unhygienic!! Disgusting. I asked for a spicy chicken combo with no tomato’s when I got to the window the person asked me again if I ordered no tomato’s. they used their fingers to rip the tomato off the bun, they pieced the bun back together to make it look normal, there was a piece missing from the bun and it was smushed together!! I wasted almost $15 with tax on this meal! Learn to make a new sandwich and I had to throw it away and pop in a frozen pizza in my oven!

Head office should be looking into this location! Not the first time I’ve dealt with disgusting food from here!! This location used to be better looks like new owners and it’s gone down hill!!

My husbands Dave’s double bottom bun was so wet the bottom bun squished and fell off in pieces, the parties were cold. This sandwich must have been sitting out for a while!
