Blossom Café by Chudleigh's — Restaurant in Milton

I work until 9:30 on weekdays and all I could think about during my shift today was that I wanted to indulge in a dessert.

After browsing potential dessert places that were open, I settled on this one. I went straight from work and arrived at around 9:45 to place a takeout order of two small desserts.

After being rudely greeted by the employee, who when i asked if still open looked at her watch and told me to my face yes but we close in fifteen minutes, I told her that i’d make things brief and be out in no time.

As she walked back behind the counter she shook her head as if she was in disgust that we had came in “right before” closing time.

She took our orders, and after heating up our pre-made desserts in the microwave she proceeded to ask me if I “wanted the ice cream” with my dessert.

I told her no because all I could think at the time was that I wanted to leave due to this woman being rude to me the second i walked through the door.

When I thought my “lovely” experience was over, I got home and cracked open my dessert after dinner to find a hair buried in it! On purpose or not I can’t help but feel like it was after the way I was treated.

I’m not one to write bad reviews but this woman is not the service type, and my experience was so bad that i felt the need to write my first bad review of an establishment.

I understand everyone has bad days and wants to finish up a little early but this really upset me.

I was so excited to try this place however this is the second time I've been here and and left having a bad experience because of the service. The service at the front isn't very helpful or engaging. The girl at the cashier working around 5:00pm yesterday told me that there's no food to order other than blossoms, however I saw on the menu that there's bagels and soup... (i came in starving!) I asked to order this. After I paid she said then choses to tell me they don't have cream cheese. I decided to get a blossom instead of the bagel so we did an "exchange". This wasn't explained very well as I've never done this before at a cafe, so I came back to ask why my credit card says I've paid more money than the bagel and soup, just to clarify. Then a girl with glasses (who just clocked in) put a paper in front of her face to openly gossip or discuss something right in front of me with the worker who I did the exchange with, which made me feel embarrassed if it were about me which I assume it was. When both the girls explained this to me they sounded annoyed. Will absolutely not be returning. Also the one girl who made my blossom before her shift ended didn't even heat up the macaroni on the mac n cheese blossom. The macaroni was cold, and it was very...

Sadly, my review will not be positive. I was so happy to be able to possibly pick up a latte on the way to a meeting that I am running late for. I work in the health related industry and cannot disclose why I’m running late for my meeting, but alas, late I am. When I called to ask if I could preorder a drink because I am really pressed for time and it would be great to just grab and go.. (I would even pay online or with my credit card) I was told to just come in to the shop. I kindly asked, wondering if she misunderstood, the thing is I am running really late and would love to come in, but it would really help me if I could just grab and go. The employee told me she had a customer and had to go (which I understand she had to serve someone else), however before that customer came in I believe it would have been easy to help someone out by taking an offer and completing it after she served someone else and had mine ready still by the time I arrived.
