Kevin's Hamburger House — Restaurant in Milton

Certainly a welcome addition to Milton Mall with only two other places to eat right beside it in this food court. Overall a better eating experience than I expected. What you get for $7.90 (!) all-in is a cheeseburger and fries, but hold on. This cheeseburger is a giant slab of delicious artery-blocking fatty ground chuck and to think that patty actually shrunk (!) during cooking is amazing! The taste is as mouth-watering as you can imagine. If you want a nice tasty burger, you need that meat to be fatty for, well...flavour!! I'm a big dude and the bottom sesame seed bun sponged-up all the "juices" quicky making for a thick slimy mess I could barely finish. At less than half the cost of the more "signature" burger joints here in Milton, I gotta give this place a 4/5. Minus one for terrible communication with the clerk taking your order in spite of her politeness, the lack of any hot sauces, the lack of malt vinegar for their 'fries which are pretty good, the rather lengthy wait, charge a little more and include a soft drink, the aforementioned juiciness of the burger that destroys the bun making take-away even messier and last but not least no calorie rating on this burger which could very well have stopped me from eating it in the first place. Loved it, loved it, loved it - but don't make this a frequent place to eat unless you dine with paramedics at your disposal to jump-start your heart. I work close by and I eat here at least once a week. I had a few different things here including the bacon cheeseburger which is a great cheat day Burger. The size of the portions here is insane. I've also had the chicken burger and it was the size of my face. I could only eat half on my lunch break and I had to take the rest home and struggle with it for dinner. And it was really good. The chicken was seasoned and the bun didn't seem to get soggy when I had it the second time around. And last but not least my go-to is two hot dogs. They're jumbo hot dogs and the bun is always warm and soft. And sometimes I'll come by and order and go back to work with the intent of coming back on time to pick it up but the owner would have already brought it over to me. Such courtesy. Such service. After seeing multiple positive reviews on a Facebook group (Milton Talk), I decided to finally try Kevin’s Hamburger House. The lady on cash recommended their bacon cheeseburger, so I ordered that & substituted the fries for a drink. My fiancé got the same burger, but with fries.

The burger was way bigger than I could’ve imagined. I love getting a burger where the patty is bigger than the bun! The bun was a perfect choice, nice and buttery. My only issue was that the burger patty was super greasy, so it made my bun soggy. Regardless, it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had.

I would definitely come back but seeing how greasy it was, I’d limit how many times I come. Also, the location is inside Milton Mall and it’s completely dead (especially because of COVID).. hopefully one day they can move into their own stand...
