Disgusting! I ordered a chicken skewer (sish tawouk) from here and some other meals. The cook kept looking up at me and then turning around to cook the meat.. He cut it in half and pressed the meat flat with the tongs repeatedly on the grill, kept glancing at it then pushing it back on against the grill so it would cook faster /appear cooked. It tasted like raw bloody chicken, I couldn't even eat it. I asked him for sauce on the salad and, some on the side and that I'd pay extra and he said the salad already has it, which it didn't, not the specific sauce I requested twice. The whole time he didn't listen to what I was asking to add on and afterwards I let my mom try my chicken, poker faced, without telling her I didn't like it to see if it was just me. She immediately spit it out and said that it taste like it's uncooked and raw/bloody, she's never said this about any chicken she's ever tried. I am willing to wait for my food as long as it is cooked thoroughly and properly, I was patient and kind. He was too busy asking me where I was from, and that I didn't look like I was from there, and if I had tried their food before, and that I'd always keep coming back there now... to pay attention to what I wanted. I left without saying anything because I could see there was no point and that he was not cooking the meat he kept squishing down on the grill to cook faster with properly. I asked for no olives and he put those. May just be a communication barrier? He was not a mean spirited person by any means, just definetly needs to cook meat how he would for himself and listen to what the customer is actually asking for?! Not going back ever again, hurt my stomach so much, threw half of the orders away. My mom thought the shawarma...
Read moreFirst of all, I am familiar with this franchise's food going back some fifteen years to their Streetsville location which was fantastic. They've grown in locations and yet, even their Trafalgar location in Oakville just this past fall on several occasions was phenomenal, and affordable, dining. Which brings me to this location in Milton: first sign, it's 5:30 pm through the Christmas holidays and not a soul to be seen in the restaurant. Second sign, the guy behind the counter talking on his smartphone in no particular hurry to end his conversation to help me. No sooner does he put the phone down on the counter than it starts ringing again! So I ordered two chicken wraps to go and sign three...The things were bulked-up with lots of cheap filler like lots of raw onions, lettuce and tomatoes. There was a skimpy portion of chicken and the whole thing tasted bland. Trust me, I've had better, much better, from this outfit's more established locations. What a disappointment! 2/5 - one point for "filler" ingredients that were at least fresh and crispy (the overly abundant iceberg lettuce, tomatoes and onions) and another point for Chatty Cathy washing his hands thoroughly with soap before preparing my meal. Lots of places for schwarma in Milton, I heard Lazeez is coming so don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way outta town, Pita...
Read moreIf I can give this place 0 star I would. came here to eat been years since I come here and no issue. Today I went in I was trying to order my food respectfully and peacefully the bald head in the front was giving me attitude.. rolling eyes after every sentence I ask or say to order my food, giving me rude gestures and negative energy, then I asked if I can have additional meat tell me this man says $27 dollars not including tax for a dinner plate. What? You want me to pay $35 for a plate that feeds one person? Does he think his food is made out of gold? $35 can literally feed a whole family at so many resteraunts. Then on top of all this the food was horrible. He added some new spice. It was extremely salty. Rice was bland and Soggy, meat was not cooked properly. Main guy that bald guy giving attitude for no reason honestly i was so close to leave but im too hungry and i just wanna eat and leave. Never coming...
