I am compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience at this Booster Juice branch. Today’s encounter was particularly disheartening, especially considering my infrequent visits to this particular branch.
While placing my order, I witnessed a concerning incident unfold. The staff member preparing my juice accidentally dropped something into the blender and proceeded to retrieve it using her bare fingers, neglecting to wear gloves. This blatant disregard for hygiene and food safety left me greatly concerned.
Upon politely requesting a remake of my drink due to the hygiene issue, I was met with resistance and a dismissive attitude from the staff member. Despite expressing my discomfort with consuming a beverage prepared in such a manner, my concerns were not taken seriously.
Adding to the frustration, when I sought assistance from another staff member and requested to speak with a manager, I was met with further hostility. I was denied any contact information for submitting a formal complaint, which is unacceptable.
Furthermore, when I requested a refund, the initial amount refunded was only $9. Despite my objections, the staff member insisted on trusting her colleague’s version of events , she clearly said I trust her without even seeing her, without verifying the situation. It was only after persistent insistence that I received a full refund, albeit with harsh words and a rude attitude.
What further compounded the issue was the admission by the staff member herself that she had indeed dipped her fingers into the blender, despite her colleague’s denial. Her excuse that she “didn’t dip it all in” is unacceptable and does not justify her actions.
In conclusion, my experience at the Booster Juice branch fell far short of expectations. I urge management to take immediate action to address these issues, uphold proper hygiene and customer service protocols, and ensure appropriate behavior from staff members. I've been in a few times in the last month and the same lady there who I think is the manager has been in a bad mood and rude to other customers that I've seen. I've also never recieved a thank you for leaving a tip , generous one I might add. I feel like she hates her job .. my smoothies have been fine just really disappointed in the attitude of her and a couple other staff . there was a couple nice people there but I've only seen them once unfortunately. they really need to do something about the service. I agree if the manager is unhappy the staff will be too . my son loves our walks there .. might have to change our tradition so we have a better experience elsewhere. good luck...
Read moreUsually a good experience with this location. Arrived 5-10 minutes before close to see another customer waiting outside who had been there for another 5-10 previous. Arrived to the door locked and even with the lights and open sign still on, an employee saw both of us outside and ignored us. As the place was not closed, I see this as quite rude and a disappointing experience. Making a few drinks still would have gotten the both of us out before closing and whatever closing duties the employee was responsible for should not cut be cutting into operating hours. I have seen and been served by this individual before and I will be letting whoever serves me going forward...
