Ordered the dumpling and curry chicken. Big mistake. First of all, the dumplings were undercooked. That's a good start, right? I thought the expensive price tag would be offset with the quality but man was I wrong. Next was the curry chicken. Now it might as well have been called Curry Onion and Mushrooms since there's barely any chicken in it and the container was filled to the brim with onions. The chicken portion is so cheap. I honestly couldn't believe how small it was. I'd say it was about 40 grams of chicken total. The entire entree was small to begin with but they even cheat you on the chicken. This was 13.99 by the way not including the rice which was another 4 dollars. With that, I might as well have gone to a shawarma place and gotten twice or thrice the amount of chicken for that price or better yet, have gone to our local Asian Grocer and bought one of their ready to go meals for a fraction of that price. Read moreSo disapponted and embarassed for buying take out from here and feeding it to my family. Its a hit and miss with their recipes. the first time i came, the pad thai tasted like real pad thai with a generous amount of chicken. now, its bland. the salted fried squid is super salty, after i ate one, i had to drink a whole glass of water, we eventually just threw it out. the general tsao chicken didnt have chicken at ALL! me and family picked each one out to see if there is, and there was barely any amount except for 3 measley pieces (the package is misleading) its all deep fried breading and topped with the sauce. we spent a good amount of money and its not worth coming back to. the people were nice but the quality of food is bad. I dont know if the restaurant is cutting corners with the ingredients. but this is no way to...

However, China Star has never disappointed me, or my guests or anyone that I served it to that has never had it before. You decide....
