I’m giving everyone a heads up DO NOT GO HERE, WORST PLACE FOR FOOD & SERVICE!!!! I’m never one to write a review about anything but this place definitely deserves it. This was by far the worst wild wings I have EVER been to in my life. I went here the first time and it was the same girl that served my boyfriend and I food. That time the food was really bad and I mean this. When she gave us fries, the fries were so cold and soggy like she pulled it out of the refrigerator or something. That time we went late so we thought maybe that was our fault for going late and wanted to give it another chance today. We went back to this location today but at a decent timing and the same exact brown girl with the glasses was working. I want to start off by saying her service was the trashiest service I have ever received in my entire life. I’m brown myself so I’m definitely not trying to be racist or what not, I just couldn’t get her name. She was on her own cellphone hiding under the tables talking to someone. She threw the menus at our table as if she did not even want to serve us or hated her job. We ordered food from her and she brought the food and did not even ask if we wanted anything else. We touched the food and it was THE WORST FOOD I HAVE EVER TASTED. The fries were LITERALLY soggy and felt as if it was just barely put in the microwave. It wasn’t just one person’s fries, there was 3 of us this time and all three of our fries were cold and soggy. 2 of us ordered hotdogs and the “hot”dog was literally a “cold-dog” instead. I ordered a chicken burger and the chicken was so cold, i literally threw up in their washroom. NONE of us even touched the food and asked for the bill. She asked us if we wanted to pack it, but why would we pack it if nobody even took a single bite out of the food. The first thing she should’ve asked was is everything okay, none of you touched the food... she didn’t do that so my boyfriend decided to let her know that the food were all cold and nasty. Her response was... oh.. i’m not too sure why its cold, nobody else said anything about their food, so are you paying with debit or credit. We literally just paid for the food we didn’t even take a single bite out of and left the place. I’M DOING EVERYONE A FAVOUR BY LETTING YOU KNOW THAT THIS PLACE IS THE MOST DISGUSTING PLACE TO GET FOOD, SO SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO YOURSELVES A FAVOUR BY NOT GOING HERE EVER. With the service they provide with people like her working there and with the food presentation/quality, they’re bound to close this place down soon. We encountered significant delays of over 40 minutes to place our order and receive our food and drinks. It was nearly impossible to receive our server’s attention. Several of us would make eye contact with her or try to call for her attention, with which she would just turn away, ignore us, and begin talking to some people by the bar.
When we requested for refills, she said they ran out of cups and so she’d have to use our current cups for the refill. I’m not sure how sanitary this process is, as she took 2 cups at a time and did the refills but when she came back, we were all unsure whose cup was whose. Not to mention, I saw they had an inspection checklist from Halton Region and their sanitization section wasn’t checked off.
Regardless, we carried on with our dinner and when it came time to ask for the bill and takeout boxes, we faced the same issues of failing to get her attention. At this point, we were very frustrated, as she was super inattentive, even though we were one of the few people left in the restaurant. We even noticed that other people in the restaurant were facing the same issues of not being able to get her attention, as they would also have to stand from their table and walk up to her.
We eventually received our bills and then, to what we thought was an error, we asked our server about a double charge for a drink. Gabie never clearly explained their wing + drink special from the start so we were thought to believe one thing. Despite remaining calm and respectful when raising our concerns, we were met with undermining, sarcastic comments and attitude. The situation escalated further when the server was saying things like “oh if you didn’t know you should’ve asked, thats not my fault”. Read moreOkay, you wanted feedback... you got it. Ordering your takeout wings is pricey... so I expect 3 things: great wings, order accuracy, and that they're READY in a timely fashion - none of which are unreasonable customer expectations. Lately, you can't deliver on ANY of those expectations.
2 weeks ago, we had a takeout order that was wrong... TWICE. Yep, after you got it wrong, we called back, and you told us to toss it out and you'll make us what we ordered. So we drove back, and picked up the "corrected" order, and guess what? Wrong again. By this point, we said screw it we'll just eat whatever's there. Strike 1.
So, we said, hey let's give them another shot. So, last week, ordered again, and low and behold, one of the two flavours we ordered was made incorrectly. Strike 2.
We're gluttons for punishment, so we said, okay we'll give you one final chance. So we placed an order last night, at 21:00 for takeout and were told 10-15 minutes. I figured you wouldn't have them ready, so I came at 21:30, paid, and had to sit there and wait another 20 minutes for them to be ready. Had I known you were going to waste my time like that, I would have said forget it; you hadn't started making the wings anyways until 5 minutes after I paid anyways. And guess what, when we got home and cracked them open, they were overcooked and brittle. Strike 3.
I'm no expert in the restaurant industry, but keep this up, and you'll be out of business in no time. If you read through the reviews here, there seems to be common themes throughout the negative ones: customers are taking their $$ elsewhere - which is exactly what we're doing from here on out.
Also, writing this was a total waste of my time; as an owner, YOU should be able to identify these problems yourself - not wait for customers...
