My husband and I come back from time to time, especially during the Milton Farmer’s Market to try different items. And sadly, we are mostly disappointed. We have decided we will not be coming back after giving this bakery multiple chances and tries. Workers are pleasant but the bakery items taste dry, bland, burnt, and old… especially their croissants. Day old items are even worse. The baked goods look good from the display window but sadly don’t taste the part. We ordered a sandwich with crispy chicken and it literally took them over 30mins to cook the chicken. My husband and I kept asking if it was ready and they kept saying they are still cooking it. I understand they want to cook the chicken thoroughly but at least let us know beforehand that we would have to wait 30 mins for it, if we knew then we would have ordered something else. We were about to walk out without the sandwich because it was taking so long. When we got the sandwich it wasn’t worth the wait - greasy and bland. Their iced coffees and regular coffees are okay. Their egg/custard tarts are usually okay, but we ordered it yesterday and it was burnt and tasted old. We ordered a cold cut sandwich once which was decent. Cannolis were bland and hard. Their tiramisu and chocolate mousse cups are the only decent dessert/bakery items we’ve tried because they are not baked or cooked. Overpriced for the quality and taste of the food. I believe that this bakery has the potential to be better if they change ingredients and maybe taste their items before they serve them and not serve burnt,...
Read moreUpdate March '24 : 1) WildFlower never offered reimbursement. 2) Other ppl that have had an issue with WF have very harsh comments coming back from management. 3) My Google review has reached a milestone see last pic. A better response from Management would have cost far less.
Stars; one for the cake, minus 3 for the Manager. So negative 2.
I prefer to give a business the opportunity to resolve an issue before leaving a negative review. Courtesy is what is needed more now than ever. Check i did that.
This was given via email 4 times last night. The Manager responded with accusations of me leaving negative reviews (from another person). I completely agree with the poster of that review.
The cake $40 plus tax. Strawberry Shortcake: What was served on plates was not eaten, and the balance is going into the garbage – no one will eat it.
Icing was oily / waxy and tasted like it was in the fridge for a while.
Sponge cake was dry and stale – obviously a couple days old. You can taste it.
Strawberries – old and shriveled, the leaves are dry and crumble. It lacked that classic taste. (photo)
The produce is lacking for the reasons above. No quality control? Or are they selling older stock as fresh?
The POST consumer service is what will definitely keep me away.
Manager: Thank you, Wild Flour, for weeding out the lousy from great service...
Read moreThe desserts were lovely, however they can be quite inconsistent. Today at the Summer Fest, me and my siblings all got the same donut. It was a sugared custard donut. It was really good and the texture was moist yet airy, but my little sister got a bad one. It was visibly smaller and flatter than mine. It was stale, dense, harder than mines and small. So we took it to get it exchanged and I had to fight to get it exchanged. A too-lengthy back and forth. Its very unprofessional to give pushback to a customer when they point out an obvious issue and claim that 'all donuts are made the same' and try to undermine their issue. Old donut looked like dense, dry bread. No air pockets. The new donut was lovely and worth our money. The sugared outting is a nice crunch. But its one thing to be inconsistent, its another to cheap out and try to force a customer to waste their money. I had to be really insisting to get my sister's money worth and that's pretty lame. Not coming here again honestly, the Wisla bakery has better customer service so they'll get my money. If you're reading this, please be prepared to get a dud in your donuts or pastries and check them for burns or an abnormal look. Money...
