Dropped in with my wife late saturday evening to try this place due to rave reviews. Sadly found out it wasnt busy at all..which worked out for us but also against us. Both the people ahead of our line for some reason got served after us. It was pretty clear that the server was new at work. The first shock came when I requested an Alijandro's box. The server asked me if I wanted chicken when I had asked it with rice. Strange when I had asked for it at first itself. Next for the spicy Caesar cone.. He had to take a long look at what's being added from the menu and sniff open a bottle to figure out what sauce he had to put in. At this point both the server and me had to smile at what's going on. So we got our order after 15min when everything was premade and just needed to be mixed. He spicy Caesar waffle wasn't spicy and missed out a couple ingredients. It was still alright but clearly not worth the hype of a fawaffle. And the sever said no baklava crumble for the night. This might have been true or maybe he wasn't able to make it for us being clueless at what he was supposed to do.

The couple ahead of us in the line got served after we finished up at the place. That's how long they took them to be served.

The ideas are alright.. Maybe on a busy day with people who know what they are doing would give out much better dishes. Maybe I might try it out again but to let the community know: you might be disappointed in spending money and time at this overhyped place on a...

Short version: Go visit now! Visited Alijandro's Kitchen yesterday for the first time and the food was incredible. We tried Alijandro's box. the juicy protein mixed with fresh vegetables, crunchy chickpeas and an explosion of various spices was my favorite box/bowl type of meal in Mississauga! You have to try this. We also tried the Taboon Tacos . The spin off they made on bread type used worked very well and the crisp was just as exciting as ever. Dropping a few mint leaves on the top of the taco's flavorful toppings made it all the more delicious. Finally we had the Corn-in-a-cup topped with tomatoes and zesty sauce. I can write a whole paragraph about that too..just try it it is awesome. For drinks we had the pomegranate lemonade and the mango mint lemonade. We enjoyed the latter more but for pomegranate lovers I'm sure the former will not disappoint!

The staff was awesome too and Samer was very informative and was as excited as we were to have us try the food.

I wish I took some pictures of the food before we started but we were really hungry and very excited to try the food. Definitely worth the visit and I would recommend any foodie to give this place a visit. I will definitely be back for more and will have...

This is a real review, because that 2/5 guy seemed fishier than all of the 5/5 reviews. I'm a local foodie that's a little hard to please, so I had to give this new place a try. I'm not sure what that low score guy was talking about; Alijandro's Kitchen isn't any messier than the nearby Osmow's or Smoke's, but it does have way more flavour. Besides, there's an art to eating a taco properly, and getting a little messy is an essential part to having a great taco. For some context, I've attached a picture of the spicy chicken Al Pastor Box and a pound of wings. Although it was close to closing there was still a steady flow of people coming in, and despite the amount of people, service was still speedy and engaging. The price range is on par with the area, so don't expect super cheap eats, but it's not expensive for what you get. The owner is very friendly and approachable, and I found the staff's enthusiasm made the food experience more enjoyable than other restaurants in the area, so who cares if they ask you politely if you'd like to upgrade your drink? Overall, Alijandro's Kitchen is now one of my go-to places for local/walking distance take-out around Square One :) See...

This review is for a take out order since we were not able to dine in due to the pandamic. This was our second order as the first order was really good, we decided to again with them. Both the time we ordered Alejandro's Box and Taco. At the outset, I wanna mention that the Alejandro's Box is a very innovative idea and I wanted to congratulate the owner to bring this to us. I really want them to keep thinking of more innovative ideas like that and improve the choices. The reason Box is a great choice as it has got all they have. We ordered Portobello and Chicken Boxes. They both are great, come with salad on the side so they are super healthy. My only comment on the Box would be that if they could find a way to spread the sauces deep within the rice n salad. As we dig in, the sauces tend to reduce and we have to eat dry rice/salad. The other way could be to increase the amount of sauce. The Taboob Taco was really nice too, again the same issue that the sauce wasn't spread evenly. The food rating is definitely 4 out of 5! The quality of food is great. We definitely recommend to order from here as we are going to their time soon 😊

Having marked for a long time, finally made it here. On a Sunday afternoon the place almost deserted. The ones manager Ali is my guess was very helpful and welcoming. Explained what the menu was and suggested is vegan options for all three vegans. We were in for a light snack and hence (still) ordered a Original and Stuffed Spud with sweet potato as a choice. The Original waffle cone is the star. Made from chickpeas and this gluten free and it was vegan. The stuffing was ok. Nothing original about that, bunch of vegetables with a date and tamarind hummus ( but more like a dressing than a hummus). A unique flavour for sure. Sweet anD tangy. The stuffed potato was great. Huge size with lots of toppings and quit filling. The beans were spicy and were great for me. Also had a mango mint lemonade which reminded me of a (south western) Indian raw mango drink (Panna). Good flavour and refreshing.
