Incredible Indian Takeout Experience!
If you're in the mood for delicious, authentic Indian cuisine that delivers both in flavor and quality, look no further! This place is hands down one of the best Indian takeout spots I’ve ever experienced.
First off, the flavors are absolutely incredible. Every dish is a perfect blend of spices that’s not overwhelming but still packed with richness and depth. From the creamy, indulgent butter chicken to the fiery, flavorful lamb curry, every bite is an adventure. The naan is soft, perfectly charred, and the ideal companion to soak up all those incredible sauces.
The portions are generous, and you definitely get your money's worth. The rice is perfectly cooked, fluffy, and light—just the right amount to balance out the heaviness of the curries.
I was also thoroughly impressed by the presentation and how the food arrived hot and fresh. It’s clear that they take pride in the quality of their takeout, from the thoughtful packaging to the prompt delivery.
Lastly, the customer service is top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always willing to make recommendations if you’re unsure of what to order. Plus, they always get the order correct, which makes the whole experience even better.
Whether you're a longtime fan of Indian food or just discovering it, this place is a must-try. It’s the perfect spot for a cozy night in, or when you just need a satisfying, flavorful meal....
Read moreThis place is very close to the city center or right in the city center. I had chicken biryani combo which came with raita. Chicken biryani was very well cooked especially, the chicken on the bone was extremely tender and soft. I could easily separate meat and the bone in the biryani. Basmati rice used in biryani was not at all sticky and had free grains with an exotically aromatic and delicious taste. They have an open and live kitchen, hence, you can actually see them making the delicacies. They have maintained a very high level of cleanliness with excellent arrangements for the dine in too. I would highly rate this place to people who like mild to medium spiced north West Indian cuisine. The raita with biryani was very fresh and delicious. The portion of the biryani and the raita was 1 person, 1 meal. This is good option to walk in the lunch time and pick up your food. I was tempted to eat more but I was full however I did order a takeaway of chicken seekh kabab combo, which came with rice and salad onions on the top. I would have loved an option of a pop or water bottle with the combo, may be they could think about it. Considering the location, ambience and vibe of the place, I didn’t find it too expensive.
I found people working here always have smiles and hence, give a warm vibe.
A star less for not considering adding a pop or water bottle in...
Read moreUpdate (2024-11): The curry is still great, but I'm not a fan of the naan anymore. I don't know enough about naan to say if the change is due to a change in regional style or what, but the naan is now about as thin as a tortilla. It's not really soft to begin with and doesn't retain heat nearly as well so it becomes chewy very quickly. I probably will come back if I'm in the mood for rice or am willing to do take out and just heat up some frozen naan from the supermarket. Unfortunately, Nouska isn't my default go to for Indian food anymore. However, there may be free parking in one of the condo underground lots as there are signs reading something along the lines of "free retail parking" nearby.
Original (2022-2023-ish): My new favourite Indian spot in the city. The food is delicious, and the naan is absolutely divine. The prices are good all things considered. Staff are incredibly nice. The only challenge is finding...
