Ordered a shake and asked for no ice. As the employee was about to turn on the mixer I saw ice in there and asked him if that was mine, he nodded yes, so I reminded him that I didn't want any. He was scooping it out as someone (probably owner or manager) asked what he was doing, they communicated in their language which I couldn't understand and turned to me and said that the ice is necessary. I've been going to Booster Juice for years and I've never heard that before. I always get no ice cause it's way too cold to drink right away. Anyway, it wasn't a super big deal but could've been resolved very easily, unfortunately, I felt like they're not communicating with their clients properly and are not willing to fix their mistakes. I ordered a tropikale smoothie today and noticed when the person handed it to me he was wearing a bandaid on his finger. I could see blood on the bandaid. I should have said something in the moment, but I didn’t want to be that person complaining. Needless to say 5 minutes later I decided to go back and ask for refund - I didn’t drink any. The manager told me that they are not able to provide refunds, apologized, and offered to remake me the drink himself. I am leaving two stars though as from a health and safety perspective the employee should have been wearing gloves, and I didn’t see the manager telling him to do so or even change his bandage….
