A secret hidden gem in Mississauga. This place is my go to dinner place on my lazy cooking days. These Korean rice dogs are to die for. They have a handful of options and 1 halal option. I don’t know why they don’t have more locations, but the food is worthwhile. I typically try to order a new one each time I go, and so far the poutine one is my favourite besides the chocolate (dessert option). It’s always crunchy, however sometimes the stick isn’t always in the middle so when you take a bite, the rice dog can be on the verge of coming off the stick. The service is pretty good - someone is always ready and there to take your order. The ambiance is very casual. One of those go in and get out places. They have high top “tables,” but you can’t really classify them as tables because they do not have chairs where you can sit, so by default all the orders are “to-go.” Otherwise - parking is not always available, but try to go nonetheless - it’s well worth it!

If you’ve never had Korean corn dogs for then this is something you really need to try! These are nothing compared to a typical western corn dogs let alone those frozen microwaveable ones you used to have when you were a kid. Not to mention they do actually have vegetarian options as well! If you’re looking for a quick relatively inexpensive snack to have on the go or to bring to a party this is a great option. I’ll had there volcano hot dog, not exactly spicy but regardless it was delicious, crispy, and the sausage they used was super juicy. Not to mention you have a lot of options for different toppings and sauces you can put on it as well. I honestly can’t wait to go back to try out all their other flavours. These are honestly as good if not better than the ones I’ve had in Korea and it reminds me of my time wandering the streets trying out all the street food when I was there.

This is was my first time trying a Korean style fried hotdog and HOLY MOLEY it was absolutely splendid!!! I first ordered the half mozzarella and half beef hotdog. It was extremely crispy and cheesy! I mean, I didn't even intend to do it but I got an incredibly long cheese pull with one bite. The addition of sauces and seasonings (which are included in the price) were so amazing! It allows for a variety of flavours and ways to express yourself through these hotdogs. Whether you prefer them sweet, spicy, or with more umami. The prices are perfect for these hotdogs and I hope they maintain them as it's hard to find a delicious, affordable meal during this economic downturn. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Overall, I highly recommend ChungChun Rice Dog! For just a few dollars, why not try out this innovative Korean cuisine?

Stop by from time to time to by 2 hotdogs for my son ever since they open, eventhough I told them for take out, the hotdogs always come with a half paper lid. Not until today, one lady ahead of me do get a decent, secure take out box for her hotdogs and sauces... so when it is my turn, i ask for the same box... the girl said that i have to order 3 hotdogs to get the box... i said i did not know this, how much is a box cost? 25 cents, a dollar... i will pay for it so things are not spill in my car... the girl look at the guy at the cash register for permission... then he look at me, very unfriendly... said " we do not sell box" If i had not pay for the dogs yet, i will walk out with this kind of " attitude and customer service" This will be my last stop at the chunchung rice dog. As consumers, we should not support business which is so penny pinchers and do not care about customers conviniences... "we do not accept Amex, since Amex cost 1% more then visa, Mc.." "We can not give you and extra paper box because it cost 10 more cents..." This is a " cheap" business...

chungchun changed the game for me.

the first time i tried korean corndogs was a completely different experience as they did not add add any seasonings for me. chungchun, however, made me eat korean corn dogs weekly when i was home in mississauga. one time i went every day for a week. the way i gained ten pounds because of this place...

you can't go wrong with any of the items. after trying out most of the menu, i now get the half and half with pretty much the same seasonings each time. they're around $5 each excl tax, and it helps that there's a boba store next door lol it's the perfect snack honestly!

you have to eat them immediately after you purchase them. they taste best when they're still fresh. they'll still taste good after, but not as good as when they're still crunchy and fresh out of the store. trust me.

i'm not gonna take one star out out of pettiness but chungchun if you're reading this, please stop putting less seasoning on...
