Disgusting!
Not to do with the food, which was just above mediocre, but I would never eat here again, and I'm sorry I did in the first place.
Seating: Upon entry, it was difficult to negotiate the narrow spaces between tables of a mostly empty restaurant. We rejected the first table in favor of one that had at least a chance to place our 2 carry-on suitcases. It was ridiculous: you would think being in an airport they might consider people would have luggage... but no! So we spent or meal sharing leg-space with our bags.
Service: Again, they're in an airport. Everybody is in a hurry... except the staff. Now to be fair, if the staff can't keep up, it means management hasn't provided enough, and/or not trained them properly. Fortunately, we had a long layover, but the wait was excessive regardless. When finally finished, for example, it took 15 minutes and 2 requests to get our bill. They were still mostly empty at this point.
Cleanliness: The restaurant was ok, but I had to hunt for clean utensils. A couple had dried on salad, and one had something sticky on it. I found clean ones from empty tables, and piled the dirty ones on an adjacent table. I duly pointed this out to staff. I pointed it out again when 10 minutes later they started to set tables with those same dirty utensils!
Ambiance: The mop and bucket left in the isle about 3 meters away was somewhat annoying in that it was emitting a rather strong bleach smell. Staff trying to sweep the floor under our table while we were eating was also annoying. I thought the manager counting cash at the adjacent table was unprofessional, as was the speakerphone conversation that a staff member was having 2 tables away.
But the truly disgusting part was when that bleach reeking mop was brought out to clean the floor around (within 30cm) of our table while we were still eating.

Read moreI recently ate here about a week ago for my connecting flight and I had great food and great service. so on my flight back today I really wanted the same experience my friends and I have been raving about this place all week and excited to eat there again.....however we walked in were greeted and then our server ULISES came by took our order brought out our food and did not check on us at all, we had to ask for a box multiple times (which we never ended up getting) we also wanted to add something to our order but we didn't get the chance to since he never came around.and the only reason he came by again was because we had our cards on the table. As we were paying he kept leaving to do other tasks and we had to wait for him to come back to punch in the next bill ( all 4 of us collectively decided to tip him in cash so on the machine it showed no tip because the cash tip we were going to give him was in our hands so we could give it to him directly at the end) then when it got around to the final bill he looked at the machine with 0 tip did a snarky laugh and made it very apperent that we were aware of it and he tossed the machine across the table for the final payment and walked away....at that moment the 4 of us put away our cash tip and decided that it was rude of him to act in such a manner when he assumed we were not tipping (even though we litterally had the cash in our hand waiting...) We all work in the food service industry so we understand that tipping is essential and that's another reason why we wanted it to be in cash.we...
Read moreI don't usually care to leave reviews for airport restaurants/cafés, but my experience here was quite bizarre, even nearly a month after my visit.
My waiter was strange from the get go, looked puzzled that I didn't order alcohol and seemed offended (??) that I wanted to move to a booth literally 3 tables down because I wanted to plug in my phone and be in a more comfortable seat.
They also never refilled my drink (pop), avoided asking me if I was doing ok/wanted anything else, and had to be flagged down (with 3 attempts) just to pay my bill, while the patrons who came in after me didn't have these issues (and his section had maybe 3 other people).
Even stranger that he just left the machine on my table and then vanished to the front of the restaurant, far away from his section.
The food didn't rectify the service either. Ordered the spinach and artichoke dip and the chips were stale, while the dip itself didn't seem properly heated or prepared properly.
Not sure what was going on here, or if I maybe offended someone 🤷🏼♀️ but I surely won't be coming back on my next layover here.
