I dont really know where to start but, going forward I might just have to skip Harvey's Mclaughlin because since last two orders, I have been receiving really pathetic service. I can explain, so its better for you to understand. The order on January 15th, which was picked up at 6.40 pm, Clearly mentioned swiss cheese on two burgers, for which i paid 80 cents each but the kind folks at harveys Mclaughlin forgot to put any. Great attention to detail. I thought ill let it go, as we all are humans and bound to make small mistakes. Today when i again went to pick up my order at 8.40pm, which was placed hours back in advance. I was disappointed to see, the order still not prepared. How much time do they need? I got my order at around 9ish. Which was 20 mins late. All this while i was trying to be patient. But then things went bad to worse. I politely requested for a HST bill, for my order, which by law is a must to provide, irrespective of the customer asking for it or not. It took the ladies, 15 mins to figure out, asking the manager, trying to waste more and more time without a resolution. Roaming around giggling, as if I asked for something out of this world, pathetic way to deal with customers. Even after all this, i wasn't provided a proper HST bill, saying that online app orders don't get a HST bill, so if you need one, order in store, like really? So that means Harvey's doesn't follow basic govt rules? This is when i lost my patience and asked the supervisor her good name. To which she rudely replied, why do you need my name? I did not make your order and this doesn't concern me so i will not give you my name. Like seriously? Don't you think, your staff should have proper name plates on? So that the patrons can know who are they dealing with? It speaks volumes when someone is at fault and won't give their name,to escape the issue and to push the blame on someone else, Had she been a responsible person, she would have happily given her name. Who made her the supervisor when she cant behave like one, I have left nice review in the past as well, when i got good service, you can check the google reviews on Mclaughlin outlet from Pankaj Purohit. But this has to be hands down the worst experience so far. I wonder how the staff will play around this topic, when they are confronted. Kindly ask your staff to act like professionals. All of this ignorant behavior hurts the brand and not those individuals. I hope this reaches someone sensible and understanding, or else ill have to write to higher authorities. If you, think i am exaggerating. You lovely folks can check your in store camera footage from 8.43 PM, 21st Jan, to get a better idea of how things went and how much time it took them, to give no resolution whatsover. The management's decision to assign the same employee to both clear the washroom and handle food preparation is beyond comprehension. Upon entering the restaurant, I was appalled to witness an employee leaving the washroom with cleaning supplies in hand, only to head straight to the food preparation area without any proper handwashing or change of gloves. This blatant disregard for basic hygiene practices is unacceptable and puts customers' health at risk. As I proceeded to order my burger, I couldn't help but worry about the lack of cleanliness and cross-contamination happening right in front of my eyes. It's alarming to think that the same person responsible for maintaining the washroom's cleanliness is now garnishing the burgers. Such a practice goes against every food safety guideline and compromises the integrity of the entire establishment. The overall experience left me feeling disgusted and concerned for the health and safety of other patrons. It is crucial for Harveys' management to prioritize hygiene and ensure clear separation of duties between washroom maintenance and food handling. This kind of negligence not only reflects poorly on the restaurant but also poses a serious risk to customers. I strongly urge Harveys' Headoffice to address this issue immediately, reevaluate their practices, and hire different person for CLEANING ONLY. Read moreNot really rating for food but it says on google that these guys are open till 12(midnight) . I drive to that store. When I went here after parking my car @10:30 pm I went inside the store to order a take out. So, for TAKE OUT an Indian cashier said NO to Mre saying “our take out is already closed at 10:00 pm. She said only Drive through is Open. I said fine. I’ll come by as I parked my car outside. So I’ll drive in to the drive through will I be able to order a food. ? She didn’t even answer my question and went to do another Order which was drive through.(she left me wondering who’s I’m asking questions) The another Indian (Punjabi) cashier came and standing there on table , closing register and didn’t even said hiii, are you being helped ? So, I approached myself to her and asked same question again. and she said to me that “you have to wait” with weird facial expressions she didn’t answer YES or NO that I would be able to order food or not! When I was leaving store I said thanks ! She didn’t even respond to that!!!! When I came out of store there was 5 cars in drive through still waiting for food. I will never come to this location ever again in my LIFE because the attitude was not okay, the customer service was not Okay, and obviously they didn’t care because there was lot of car in drive through waiting for food even after 10 minutes. Have your business running like this attitude (via these staff) and see yourself in mirror after 5 years . You are gone!!!
