Havent been to a Harvey's in some time, thought id grab some food today. Overall food was good, experience not so much. I understand the environental decisions fast food companies are making regarding plastic but I absolutely hate the paper straws. The paper on my lips makes me feel like some people when they hear nails on a chalk board. Anyways, I didnt know I had a paper straw and paper poutine until I left (drive thru). I returned 2 min later asking for a regular straw but was told only paper is available. And yet I got a plastic fork for my poutine.. And the poutine paper was soggy and borderline leaking. And I swear the poutine is smaller than the other round poutine container they used to use. Is this your way of reducing the serving size, for the same cost and hide it with "we did it for the environment"? I dont expect any reasonable/inelegant response or change for that matter, at most i bet it will be a generic PR response similar to "Sorry you didnt enjoy, its better for the enviroment".. . Just think about it... In otherwords they dont actually care. You guys used to be great.
How much better is it for the environment that I have to throw out a paper straw, 30 napkins, and a soggy paper poutine container? Just because its paper doesnt mean it was energy and resources free, and without waste to produce.. At least ask customers what they prefer and let them choose. If you were so concerned about the environment, shut the doors and ask ppl to cook at home instead of wasting resources... I dare you 😆.
Feel free to hit me up and we can collaborate on some solutions to these glaring issues.
Thanks...

I had a truly wonderful experience at Harvey’s thanks to one of the staff members EDHITA who went above and beyond to support my healthy lifestyle goals. I’m currently on a strict nutritional regimen and needed to know the calorie count for each meal option before ordering. Without hesitation, this staff member patiently walked me through the menu—item by item—helping me calculate and compare the calories, toppings, and combinations so I could make a meal choice that aligned with my health plan.
What stood out most was the genuine kindness and patience. In a fast-paced environment where speed often trumps service, it was refreshing to encounter someone who took the time to help without making me feel rushed or inconvenient. They answered my questions thoroughly, double-checked nutritional facts, and treated my dietary concerns with real respect.
It’s rare to find that level of attentiveness in a quick-service setting, and it made all the difference in my day. I left feeling empowered to stick with my health goals—and grateful for a meal I could enjoy guilt-free. Kudos to Harvey’s for hiring staff who truly care. This kind of service deserves to be recognized!
Thank you again for the exceptional support and encouragement on my healthy...
Read moreNormally, I would give this location a better review, as I have been a frequent customer over several years and it's been great, but the last three times I visited, they got my order wrong. First time, no dressing was included with my three salads I ordered even though I was asked twice which dressing I wanted. Second time I was missing an order of large fries. And most recently, in addition to other things, I ordered four orders of eight donuts, and I only got one order of four donuts that were undercooked and had no cinnamon sugar on them... there were just four doughy, plain "donuts" in a bag. Maybe these are minor infractions in the Grand Scheme of Things, but when you order 32 donuts for a kid's party and only get four? Well, that is a big infraction. Let me tell you. Okay. Maybe I'm the Schmuck that didn't check his bag for the right order before leaving... but that's, frankly, not my job. If I go to a place I EXPECT the right order to be in the bag. Hell, I'm paying enough. Is that so much too ask? For the right order? Very disappointing, to be honest. Wasn't even busy when I was there. So, what's...
