If I could rate them lower than one star I would. This place has honestly become such a disappointment. I try to stay loyal to this all Canadian Mr. Sub location close to my house. One time I ordered through skip the dishes a while ago that forgot the chips I added to my order. Another time I ordered through skip the dishes, they forgot my pickles I added to my order. But this time takes the cake. I want a chicken wing special sub they're promoting. No bacon like I ordered, no double meat like ordered, sub not grilled like I ordered. no sauce. My daughter had a double meat steak and cheese with bacon. No double meat like I ordered, no cheese, no tomatoes like I ordered, no sauce no lettuce no nothing. And again, not a grilled sub like I ordered. Enough is enough.... one time about a year ago, I made a phone call to the location because they forgot my pickles. I got a return phone call from a very friendly concerned owner ABOUT a week later, trying to reason with me about life of business during the pandemic, and I kind of understood him. I decided to really let that go. Then a few months later they forgot my chips that I ordered. OK I turned a blind eye out of that, got my refund from skip the dishes. But tonight was ridiculous! Completely ruined my dinner completely didn't answer the phone when I called the restaurant and you know yeah I got my refund from skip the dishes but that's not what I want. I wanted my order done properly and this is wrong. I will never order from this place again. Clearly the person working there is not really caring about...

Here's a quick summary of the events. So my partner and I go into this particular Mr. Sub once every 2 weeks for a quick lunch. My partner orders her usual Pizza Sub with no pizza sauce because she likes the meats but not the pizza sauce. Never had a problem ordering this before. The little old man who was called up to the front to make her Sub became confrontational about her ordering a pizza Sub with no pizza sauce...he said " If no sauce, no extra cheese" she tried saying... "Ok well I dont understand I've ordered it like this for years and never had a problem before" ... but he insisted that if she didn't have sauce on it, she couldn't have the extra cheese. So she said "ok fine whatever charge me the extra cheese than" He then continues on and on "about how if have no sauce, you get no extra cheese"... in the meantime she's trying to avoid the public spectacle he's creating while others are waiting in line by telling him... "fine whatever... just charge the extra cheese than." before he eventually ends up telling her to "never go back there".
Ok so by his logic he is arguing with a repeat customer about what they choose to have on their sub and literally banned for her choice of what she wants on her Sub. Makes sense right?...
This would be like ordering a cheeseburger and saying no ketchup please and the clerk saying " if you no have ketchup, you get no cheese".
End result. You just lost 2 repeat...

No one in front when I walk in. Lady walks from the back, coughs in her hand, then puts on plastic gloves. I should've followed my gut and just walked out. She NEVER washed her hands. There is a reason they put sinks behind the cash register in view of customers. She makes my sub, while sniffling the whole time - obviously under the weather. I pay, take the sub, then throw it in the garbage. Not looking to getting sick and missing work for a sandwich. Again, should have just walked out when I saw she didn't wash her hands.
Another customer behind me orders. The manager walks from the back and proceeds with their order... Again, no hand washing done.
This is food safety 101. If they are careless about such a simple hygiene practice, you have to question everything else. Proper food storage, cleaning practices, etc..
To Mr. Sub, Spare me the generic automated reply message. You see my review. I am not going to repeat this again on Facebook or whatever site of your preference. I am sharing my review for prospective customers, so they know what they are...
