Organique Juice Bar — Restaurant in Mississauga

This is a local spot in Streetsville that focuses on healthy smoothies and food. Though I love the concept and the owner does seem quite a nice guy, I think they haven't ironed out their process completely.

It's in a strip mall that has one of the craziest parking lots I've seen... there are pot holes here that bigger than a dog. I'm sure a few pets have disappeared into those holes. The store itself is sparse but clean. It has a few seats if you want to eat there but it's mostly a take out concept. The menu is hanging on the wall with smoothies, juices, and acai bowls, salads, and sandwiches on different boards.

With 2 people behind the counter just working through a few orders, they were constantly moving... there's no slacking but they were openly admitting to behind in getting to the 5 items ahead of us already. Yikes. They were writing things on a paper pad to know what was put in order... a little chaotic. This was slightly after the lunch rush so i cant imagine what a true rush would look like.

They did acknowledge it would be a while and were apologetic. I dont think its was ever a lack of trying. But I noticed that they're attempts to speed through food or drink orders, that it might not have gotten the quality they wanted. More on this later.

The price point is like most spots in GTA for smoothies and pressed juices... it's not cheap and would make most people want to grab their own blender and a bunch of fruit themselves. We're talking about $10++ for a drink. Seeing how I got a giant salad that was great in Kensington for the same price, I found it a bit pricey here. That being said, I never once saw a frozen fruit used.

Rise and Shine smoothie - Made with cold brew coffee, banana, dates, almond, and cacao powder, I found this one interesting. The coffee and banana was super light. I did like how this wasn't overly sweet. I did find the cocoa the strongest taste but it was a weird texture. It was very watery with the dates and cocoa powder causing a lot of clumps. I think on paper this sounds good but in their rushing, they didnt blend this long enough to get it smooth and probably didnt add enough banana or dates to thicken it up. 3/5

Banana Butter Cup smoothie - Similar to the other smoothie, this one was unfortunately was another casualty of rushing. There was large chunks of dates and protein that just made it harder to drink. Often you'd sip and get stuck with something clogged in the straw. Overall, it wasn't bad... tempered sweetness with the strongest flavour being banana. 3/5

I wish this would be a great spot but with the price point and the lacklustre drink quality, maybe I'll try...

I’m giving them two stars because the smoothie I got was really good (Mango Morigna) and my friend got the Wellness Shot, which she enjoyed as well. The issue was with the sandwich I got (BBQ Chicken and Avocado), it was disgusting and literally not edible. First of all, the avocado was rotten. Discoloured and the taste and texture was horrible. My first bite into the sandwich I immediately spat it out as I had bitten into a huge piece of cartilage. You don’t have that in a chicken sandwich, there’s absolutely no excuse. I couldn’t finish the sandwich, it was thrown out. My friend had gotten the Kale and Sweet Potato Salad and said it was extremely bland and tasteless. For the price of their food they should not be cutting corners or using food that is borderline rotting. Also, maybe learn to incorporate some spices or herbs or at least a good sauce to give the food just a tad bit of flavour. Extremely disappointed and will never order from this...

First time coming here, everything is ok.. Is it priced high? Yes it is but it’s an organic juice bar I think everyone knows it won’t be cheap. The size to pricing ration leaves a lot to be desired and I generally just had a hard time communicating with the cashier there as English is clearly a second language. When I paid I noticed on my online account I was double charged for the transaction which I showed to the cashier but he insists that he only charged me once as he showed me and I had no reason to doubt his word since I tapped the card for the transaction and went through the first time. In any case would I be back in the future probably not everything at this place you can find at a booster juice or some other natural juice shop. We bought three smoothies one large one medium and one small and one sandwich came out to $38 bucks. For the size and quality...
