Osmow's Shawarma — Restaurant in Mississauga

I am writing this to reply on the review written by Fatema Deraiya who is my freind about the portion size in shawarma.

Yes, I was the one in the group who discussed portion size with the owner during friday afternoon who was there and after discussing this with owner, there was no change in the chicken proportion. I acknowledged that osmows has measuring scoop for the chicken quantity, so why other osmows are better than this in quantity. I went to various osmows like in woodbine mall and other one which is near food world.

I do have my bank statements and receipt of the payment which I paid for extra chicken which is around 6$ to prove my point. But I am not going to do that.

Even your employees knows me well, when I complaint about the chicken portion to your employee. He said that you are the same person who talk about this to our owner. You can ask your male employee who usually works in evening.

We are not here to make false charges or for any extra freebies from you guys. But I highly recommend to check ur portion size.

Apart from this, this review is for people. And we do not want to discuss this any further as we spoke to the owner and he did nothing so I do not think that sending email make any changes.

I made my mind that I will not going to order from this osmows any more. Other osmows are far more...

When the manager is working and attentive, the quality of the food is night and day difference; it's usually very good. As he's really good at his job, and runs the staff well.

I've gotten food poisoning twice now from here. Both times I got food poisoning he wasn't there. I intermittent fast, so I can really tell what foods make me react, as I limit and keep track of what I consume.

If it's busy, and full staffed; and you make sure you're getting fresh hot food, it's great. You get what you're expecting most of the time.

However.. If it's really slow in there with 1-2 people working.. I recommend finding another place..

I just took my time to go there, and received undercooked fries, and weird semi-cold questionably cooked chicken, and it was not from the skewer thing, but from some metal bin. Was stringy weird texture, and semi-cold.

I immediately started feeling gross, 1/3 into the meal; and threw it out. Complete waste of time and money. I'm throughly disgusted enough to take my time to write this.

Sitting here just letting it digest while my stomach is bubbling. This was my cheat meal, and now I gotta not eat it for at least 6 months so I don't get turned off from shwarmas cause I have to many middle eastern friends lol. Thanks guys, that...

Crappy first experience. I've heard people say they like Osmow's. A new one has opened so I thought I'd try them. First they make #75's wrap before mine #73. Then burn the stale wrap which you can see falling apart and burnt coming off the toaster. Without a word. Guy just slaps another stale wrap around it and toasts again. The wraps were terrible. Like biting through cardboard. And falling apart. Doesn't taste great either. Worst shwarma I've ever had and I've tried a quiet a few. Went in looking forward to a good wrap. Left sadly disappointed. Why do people like this place?

How spicy do I want my food??? Aka how much hot sauce should we smother it with? That's such a dumb ordering option. Just ask people if they want hot sauce. I like spicy food. But not spicy cause it's covered in hot sauce. And while I'm there I see a guy prepping a plate. Add hot sauce, then check screen to see how much. Seemed stunned for sec, tried to spread out sauce and didnt add anymore. Closed take out box and sent it off.
