Pita Grill — Restaurant in Mississauga

The location is a bidder hidden from from the very busy Dundas and Winston Churchill area and unless you know this place exists, you are not going to catch this.

The food described below is average, the service is good and the young gentleman working behind the counter does every the book - ie changes gloves regularly cleans the the work area, does not handle food without gloves or tongs. The manager is equally the same, but lacks some listening skills and perhaps salesman qualities. We wanted the dishes with fries and he kept mentioning potatoes. We assumed it was the same, but it’s not. We asked for a replacement of rice with fries and the dish came with rice.

The falafels are freshly made and very good. Soft inside and a good crunch out. The rice is bland and would rather not have it next time. The hot sauces run of the mill and did not taste Mediterranean. The manager/owner is perhaps not from the Mediterranean origin and perhaps made

So I've been to a lot of Shawarma places but this one I would never return again.I ordered a lamb dinner on the rocks and a beef Shawarma wrap. I reapeated the order twice as I usually do.They made everything beef and tried to pass it off as lamb and I paid for lamb on the rocks. When I questioned the man he looked confused (AS ALWAYS) .He did not apologize or give me the difference that I had paid for the lamb dinner.I have been here 4 times and when they ask what you want in the wraps and you tell them only sauces they talk amongst themselves in another language other than English. They are very rude and unprofessional towards Customers. The food is not that good and overpriced.Also my wife and I spent half an hour in the washroom after eating here.I will never return again. Ok, i will start by saying i have been coming here for years and the flavor of food is exceptional.

My go to every time is the Chicken n rice, but in the last few months they have started using smaller containers and the portion is ridiculous now for the $12 they charge. I used to have it for lunch and enough left over for dinner, but my last 4 times ordering the portion size is so small im still hungry once done. This is unacceptable, this place is always busy and mostly a take out restaurant so i don't think covid has had much to do with it. Because of this, i think today was my last time coming as i was just hoping to see the old portion sizes back.
