Pita Land Shawarma - World Drive — Restaurant in Mississauga

This location chinces bigtime. Went with my wife we each got a shawarma wrap. the location had a sale 6.99. anyhow smallest wrap ever. I was a customer since la zeez sold rights to pita land. original location downtown and weston road steeles so I go way back. flavor is always amazing but robbery is to be expected coming here. next time will have to get dbl meat but shouldn't have to. a sandwich always satisfied me here always until now it left me really hungry. hopefully its a location thing and other locations are fine but this place lost me and everyone else I know asking any suggestions where to go. never felt so robbed in my life. wish I took a pic. was so hungry and though about this when getting home as I feel soo cheesed. never felt this ripped in my life besides one situation at a mechanic.....

Extortionately priced Shawarma for the portion sizes. I used to really enjoy the taste and be a frequent pita land customer for years, but it's genuinely insulting after having tried this location. Especially in such a saturated market where there's a shawarma store every corner.

My chicken shawarma had maybe a teaspoon worth of chicken, and dollop of sauce. I was looked at incredulously when I asked for more hummus. It was 45% onions in a pita.

I decided to get a combo with garlic potatoes and a drink. I got four (4) garlic potatoes in one of those cups that restaurants give you take out gravy in. $5 extra for this.

Place was clean, and service was adequate and timely, and food still tasted good, But they were so cheap with the portion sizes it's hard to...

Wasn't too thrilled with this restaurant. The service was mediocre. As for the food, I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap and wasn't impressed. It's over priced for the large ($15) and quality was below average in my opinion. Chicken was oily and of below average quality (lots of fatty and cartilage pieces), and the lettuce was chopped into clumps and was brown, and also tasted stale. In addition, every topping other than tomatos, pickles, lettuce, and onions is "premium" and an extra charge. I guess I wouldn't mind paying extra for those toppings (which I did), but wasn't impressed by the taste.

Unfortunately I probably won't return as there are many other shawarma...
