Shawarma Box — Restaurant in Mississauga

Visited this location today with a friend who recommended it as he had enjoyed the food from here a few days prior. There were 5 employees working and 9 orders ahead of mine. We patiently wait for 5 minutes as the two workers who were in charge of starting the wraps helped the larger order ahead of mine. Once finished, one of the workers left and started speaking to the individual in charge of placing the meat on the wraps in their own language. After some frustration that individual walked away into a room; the entire time I am waiting to be helped and the other employee just has his head down opening pita breads to make pockets. Finally the meat placer tells the guy to take me order so he looks up and starts my order. I get a chicken swarama saj box and he puts the toppings I wanted on the pita. From the other room, the other workers comes out and takes the wrap that was prepared for me and starts remaking the previous customers wrap as there seemed to have been a misunderstanding with their order. No apology or no explanation leaving me just standing there. So I turned around and walked out. Not one of the 5 men working there tried to stop me or apologize, not to mention none of them were even smiling or looked like they wanted to be there working. So very disappointed in my customer service experience there. I don’t care whether the food is good or not, being disrespected and neglected like I was today will be the reason I never return to give them a second chance. I do not recommend anyone go here. Was met by Essam and Samer and greeted with a friendly hello and a welcome to my first time at Shawarma in a box. The food was made fresh and to order with plenty of hot sauce and their house blend ( a salmon coloured sauce) that works great on both Fries and Shawarma SAJ. (a delicate wrap that is flavorful and perfectly cooked).

I had the beef saj with fries and pickles

Even if I am out of area, this was fantastic and a great stop to try on your trip around the GTA/Mississauga area.

I was even given a taste of the chicken. With some extra hot sauce for my SPICY desires

For a drink I tried a Barbican Malt pomegranate beverage.

This was out of this world and I recommend this drink wholeheartedly!

They gave my order to someone else. They talked amongst themselves when they realized what happened but no one said a word to me. The person who made the mistake looked very frustrated that the other guy told him to fix it. So he left me waiting while they served everyone else in line.

My group had already paid and started eating while i waited.

He wouldn't even make eye contact. There was no acknowledgment of the mistake and made no effort to apologize for the error.

I waited while he served 4-5 other people behind me in line before i asked them to cancel my order and i left.

Everyone makes mistakes but they handled this so poorly. They have a lot to learn about customer service.
