We stopped here due to a layover. I ordered the tom yum soup with shrimp which was delicious. It was supposed to be spicy but it wasn't very spicy which is fine by me since I'm not a very big Spice Girl. I do like a little bite in my soup so I did add a little Sriracha and a little oyster sauce, in addition to a squeeze of lime. The counter where we receive our food was a little messy but they were also very busy so that was to be expected. The staff was very friendly. They were even thoughtful enough to make me a fresh spring roll after noticing the others were old. They also brought out some new Sriracha when I asked. The soup was mostly noodles and not as many veggies as I would like but I did like the vegetable combination that was in the soup. The veggies were hard to get to since it was so many noodles on top. I do wish it had more bean sprouts and vegetables inside the soup. I also wish it had more of a lemongrass flavor. My mother ordered the fried Thai rice which was also very good. I was surprised it was so flavorful being that it looks so plain. It was a little pricey at $12 Canadian dollars but...

Beware that if you order your food through the self-serve touch pad, you might get something quite different.

The software takes you through steps for your order. For stirfry, there is a long list of toppings which you can choose what to remove. So naturally, one would assume things that are not removed would be in your dish. Right? Wrong! What it DOESN'T tell you is that depending on the type of sauce you choose, some ingredients are by default not included anyway! When we got our incorrect meals and inquired, the lady at the front's reponse was: "You to ask me what ingredients it does have. That is why I am here. EVERYONE asks me what ingredients are in the dish"....so...basically we should have known to not rely on the system and ask??? And your job is to correct the automated system, which is there supposed to make things easier??

I won't go into the details of the rice being drenched in very sweet sauce and the spicy dish not being spicy at all...I never expected airport food to be great, but this experience was new!

We paid $55 for three dishes, which we ended up throwing more than...

Never had a great experience with this location. I tried to ordered but the cashier was not in (around noon) and the cooks were just randomly taking order. They took 4 orders before me even asking me but not others to go at the front. When I said the cashier wasn't there, they ask the customer to call her because she should be there. They finally took my order (Vegan pad thai) and when the cashier came in front I asked for tofu pad thai (the vegan option). She repeated vegetable a few times and I had to I wanted the Vegan option. The cook came in front and told her something and she said that they did not have the gluten free sauce. I was confused and said I wanted the vegan one and she explained that vegan was no egg with the fish sauce. After a few back and forth about what Vegan was, they said the Vegan option has fish sauce in it. This is disgusting. If vegan is on the menu, the cooks should know what that is. I do nkt trust this location anymore. Food quality has been pretty poor in the past and they most likely put fish sauce in not respecting their customer....

I ordered the Tom yum with prawn soup, but added coconut milk (turning it into Tom Kha), and added extra: chicken, green onion, broccoli, and Thai basil. It was a really tasty soup with rice noodles, mild Tom yum spices, and lots of veggies. Totally hit the spot on a rainy fall day at the airport. I also got a $5 coconut water, and that was actually tasty as well and had little chunks of coconut in it. All in, I think it came to nearly $30 for soup + add-ons + drink, which is stupid expensive for food court soup, but this is an airport meal, and I actually really enjoyed it; so, it was worth it for me. Idk about the rest of the menu, but I'd definitely eat this again.

Food poisoning warning! I got horribly sick from my order of pad sew tofu last night while in transit at Pearson airport, on December 15th. I hadn't eaten anything else for many hours prior to this. Upon arrival at my final destination I had full-blown food poisoning symptoms, vomiting 4-5 times. I advise avoiding this location at all costs. * EDIT to add: after filling out a report sent to me by Thai Express, they simply offered me a gift certificate (?) and commented this: "We conducted an internal audit, and everything is up to standard." Yikes. With other, more recent reviews mentioning food poisoning too, I advise people to take this seriously.
