This Wendys is my local one and I've been going to it for over 20 years now. The quality service has changed quite a bit over the years but recent trips there have led me to want to post a review. The food here, 90% of the time is hot and very good. At times, however, there are items missing or cold. The same could be said about customer service, although that is more like about 70% of the time. The difference between good and bad service is whether the manager happens to be in. When the Manager is there, everything is perfect, the Fries are hot and fresh, the order is never wrong and the service is fantastic. When he's not there, it's hit and miss. A few days ago, I placed a mobile order and went through the drive-thru to pick it up. As I was pulling up to the window, I saw the manager leaving for the day. At the window, the young woman greeted me by holding out a large coke. I explained that wasn't mine, my order was the mobile order, I had told them that at the speaker. She seemed confused and asked what I ordered. I told her the items in my order and she told me to go park and they would bring it out to me. It took about 10 minutes for the order to come out but luckily the very small, medium frosty that I'd gotten was mine so I was able to eat it before it melted completely. The order came out with each item in a separate bag. The fries were cold and there wasn't a single napkin in any bag.
When the manager is in working, I give this place 5/5 and highly recommend it.

Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with a recent experience at the Eglington location. On May 14, 2025, at approximately 11:30 am, my partner ordered breakfast and received $6 and some change, including a damaged $5 bill. When he attempted to use it later, the employee refused to accept it, citing store policy.
As regular customers, we've consistently experienced order errors and unresponsive staff. I believe better training and attention to customer concerns would improve the experience.
I became frustrated during the incident and expressed my disappointment to the manager. Prompt resolution would have been more efficient. I suggest reviewing camera footage to determine the outcome.
If the footage confirms our version of the story is right , I expect an apology and acknowledgment of the error. If it shows we were incorrect, I'm willing to apologize in person.
I didn’t want to bring this conversation online on google review. I wanted to send them an email to the management for them to understand what happened and take a step they couldn’t provide anything. They were just rude ignorant and they lacked understanding.
Now I’m leaving this for people to see.
If you do go to this location have zero expectations. Your orders would probably be wrong and the customer service is horrible and rushed.
Every dollar and cent counts, especially in today's economy. I hope you'll take our feedback seriously and focus on enhancing customer service...

My husband ordered our meal and when he went to bring it to our table, realized they hadn’t given him the fries or drink from his combo meal. When he asked the team leader - she questioned him and argued saying he hadn’t ordered that. After a couple minutes of debate and my husband’s adamance, she then made her staff at cash go back to our order and reprint the ticket (at this point there was a growing number of customers waiting to order) - despite it showing that we ordered those items, she continued to argue with my husband that we didn’t order them and that we were wrong. Eventually she gave up and gave them to him…. He came to our table and I then realized they’d only given us 3 chicken nuggets vs. 4. He went back to them and she then yelled at her staff in front of us and customers about whether or not she was giving customers 3 or 4 nuggets. She reluctantly gave us the 4th but I felt really bad for her staff that they were berated in front of customers. The food was ok, I think we just aren’t Wendy’s people. It was well made and warm but we didn’t feel great after (I never feel ill after McDonalds fyi). Based on how we were treated and accused for lying… when we literally just wanted to get what we paid for - we will never return to this Wendy’s and honestly, any Wendy’s in general.
