Had such a beautiful experience at Au Vieux Duluth! The portions are phenomenal, so generous and full of flavour. The decor is exquisite, with such a warm and inviting atmosphere. And the staff? Wow!! Truly some of the sweetest and kindest people I’ve ever encountered. They made the whole evening feel extra special.
There was one gentleman in particular, I didn’t catch his name, but I’ll absolutely never forget him. He was incredibly sweet, so attentive, and you could just tell he genuinely loves what he does. That kind of energy makes all the difference. 🫶🏽
Everything from the appetizers to the main dishes was perfection. You can tell they put so much love and care into their service and food. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at home, whether you’re celebrating something special or just treating yourself to a lovely night out.
Au Vieux Duluth is more than just a restaurant, it’s an experience. Beautiful ambiance, amazing food, and heartfelt service. I’m so grateful for the memories made here and already looking forward to the next visit!
Did I mention that you can bring your own wine? 🍷

Read moreMy boyfriend and I went here last Thursday for a quick dinner out. We are both English speakers, and were greeted in English and sat in English. Not sure what was up with our server, but she 100% refused to speak to us in English. I’m a native Quebecer who is Anglo, I come from an English family, and while I am learning French after moving back to Montreal after 20 years of being away, I do not feel comfortable speaking it yet. My boyfriend, is not from Quebec. He moved here in 2020. He comes from Vancouver. He knows basic French, but not conversational French. The entire time we were there, we would speak to our server in English, and she absolutely refused to speak to us at all in English the entire time. Only French.
You are in the job of customer service. If you refuse to read your customers and accommodate them, you shouldn’t be in this profession. I don’t really care what your personal gripe is with the language, acclimate to your clientele or go to the back of house in the kitchen where you don’t have to interact with the public.
Safe to say, we won’t...

My boyfriend order the salmon and just rice .the salmon was excellent. The rice was hard and no taste at all it's definitely missing something. I ordered the souvlaki plate. The meat was fine the rice the same thing hard and no taste .the potatoes were okay .the salad most of it was rotten and very slimy . I told my waiter the dinner was good but the salad turned me off .so I didn't eat nothing after I saw the lettuce . It was terrible the salad. For a new restaurant I understand it's stressful but the manager didn't even come to ask why I made a complaint. After tasting and seeing the salad I qas turned off . It wasn't only one piece of lettuce it was mostly the whole plate . I wanted to try the new restaurant but won't go...
