I've been wanting to try this restaurant forever but they only open from 6pm and with 2 small toddlers it's a bit late. But I decided for my 30th I was gonna make it happen and had babysitters to enjoy this night out!

We booked it for July 11 on a Saturday for a group of 6 (Asians). I was first to arrive and I greeted the hostess saying I had my reservations at 8, in which she replied that it's actually at 8:30 and my table wasn't ready but I told her that I had called couple days ago to change it to 8 and it was confirmed. She rolled her eyes, looked annoyed and told me to follow her to the table. I thanked her once seated and she just walks away. Although a rocky start I was still very excited for the night.

Eventually the rest of the group came and we were ready to order. As soon as our waiter arrived we can sense his negative energy like he was there to serve us but he would rather not. Extremely cold and unwelcoming. We wanted to order white wine and asked for his recommendations, we like Chablis but there was only one on the whole menu priced at $275. We told him something similar but at a reasonable price, he looked irritated like why are you here if you can't afford it. The whole night never once did he come checked on the table and ask if things are ok or poured our wine. We then order a round of Vsop each and reorder a 2nd when it was done but it came it was only about half poured compared to the first time. We told him about it and said we would like the same thing as before even if it meant paying more. He replied with "Well did you drink from it?" Indicating that we are trying to rip them off. We all came from the service industry (waitress/bar/hairdresser) so we are always very polite to the staffs because we know it's not easy but we also know that their attitudes towards client will only be like that because they simply don't like them. As if our presence annoyed them and that we weren't worthy of being in their high end restaurant.

Even the manager brushed off our request when we asked to change table to the terrace side. We understand that with the whole covid going on it meant that they have to clean everything again which is not convenient and safe. But instead of wasting our time and saying no right away he made it seem like he was going to try even though he wasn't going to anyways. We thank him regardless.

The end of the night came and by this time our waiter didn't wanna bother with us anymore and sent his colleague (Joey) to pass the payments with us instead. The bill was close to $1000 and we still tipped 20% even with the bad service. Joey was very nice and promised to take care of us next time we come back but we kindly declined. The girl upstairs at the washroom was also very kind and happily offered to take pictures for us.

I have never felt so little and looked down upon at any restaurant like that before. They say "you will forget the things people say but never the way they made you feel" and thanks to Beatrice I will never forget my 30th...

Reservations recommended. We were only 2 so I called the day of and got a later seating slot at 830pm Tuesday and it wasn't an issue and there were a lot of tables available at that time. This restaurant has been around for something like 23 years!

Service is amazing. You have a waiter but a lot of other waiters would pop by to help out or serve. Every time a dish came another waiter woukd ne right behind with freshly grated cheese or pepper (depending on the dish).

Me and a friend shared the tuna tartar entrée, fettucine mushroom, lobster risotto and the 20oz steak and tiramisu. We also had 3 drinks total. Whole meal tax and tip came to about 310$ total. And that was in fact, a little too much food lol we were ambitious and wanted to try it all. We ended up bringing most of the steak dish home but finished the rest, we did good for 2 small gals.

The 20oz steak came pre sliced so you could see it cooked properly all the way through which was a nice touch. On a technical level it was good but it was just missing something. It looked medium rare but I didn't find it melt in your mouth good and for 80$, I was left a little disappointed. The spicy tuna tartar entree had a fish scale in it which was an unpleasant surprise when eating it - not the end of the world, but still mentioning it because this is a high end restaurant. I advised the waiter, I think the information was relayed.

Food is tasty, ingredients are fresh, all the pasta is home made, they served our cocktail drinks with agave biodegradable straws which I loved because those are probably double the cost but better for hfe environment.

The atmosphere of this place is very nice high class. A very business oriented clientele or the seen and be seen younger crowd. Lots of string lights and nice lighting, fake candles everywhere, beautiful seats. And sound wise, nice ambience music in the background and it wasn't all that noisy...

Let me start by the fact that the food is amazing. We were a group of 8 and everything from the salad, the tartare, the octopus, to the fish, the lamb chops… everything was beautifully made. The place is so beautiful and the atmosphere is great and warm. I usually tend to review on place and not on google, but didn’t get the chance/the energy for it tonight. But here it is; The only negative thing was the service. I am reading the reviews and it seems to be a rare experience but i think that it would be helpful to review for the better. Our serveur Dave, was definitely not professional tonight. You know when a customer asks for help to choose from ur menu, u can answer by ur best seller plate or maybe ur personal choice. No need to reply by:”did u read the menu sir?”. I find it rude a bit. Second, bringing the bill before we asked for it, and assuming it will be one bill…maybe check with us or ask us before putting someone in that position. Third, maybe wait for us to finish our transaction before pulling the terminal with the card inside. It seems to me that the service was rushed in a rude way. Its a shame because the place/food are great. I believe in the customer service and in the experience. When you go to a restaurant u are not only paying for a product but for a whole experience. I find it disappointing to go to a place with such a high standard and get this kind of service from the “salle manager” himself. Although, the other waiter (no name) who took care of some of our drinks was so nice. Regardless, we thank you for the delicious food and i hope this leads to an...

I've come by many times in front of Ristorante Béatrice and always thought it looked absolutely gorgeous. Today at lunch was the time to finally try it. I was right, it is absolutely gorgeous. It's bright and shiny décor with neutral color and lovely light arrangements. It is quite classy and chic with even a tree in the corner. I've heard the terrace is fantastic but the cold winter storm outside was not ideal for that. I'll try it another time 4 course meal: A creamy, lovely Mozzarella di buffala with fresh tomatoes, pesto, tasty olive oil and crispy bread was the first course. And it started out strong. I was not hungry anymore after this first plate. Very traditional but very well done. The olive oil was really bringing the dish together. Next was a plate of fresh tomato pasta. It might seem simple and ordinary like that but it was seriously one of the best tomato spaghetti I had. There was a superb depth of taste. Main course was veal and a mushroom sauce which was fantastic with the brunellos I had in my glass. Italian wine with Italian food ;) It wasn't as fresh and delicious as the first two but it was still very pleasant. Then we had a huge plate of sweets. It seems they have a pastry chef of their own which is quite rare nowadays. Cream cheese and white chocolate ball was to die for. The cookies were delicious. A very cute lemon meringue mini pie. Brownie, cake, fruits, etc. So much stuff!! This is what Italian restaurant should be like, classy with good typical ingredients.

We booked Beatrice for our wedding and cannot recommend it enough. Daniela was fantastic throughout the planning process and a pleasure to work with. Claudio and team made sure everything was perfect and delivered an amazing service from early evening well into the morning; no request was too big or small. There was always someone checking on our guests while food came out like clockwork. Our bartender David was also incredible, personable and made amazing drinks and shots throughout the night while making time to chat and even take a few photos. Finally, the food was simply amazing and we received compliments with every course, and in messages in days after, including about the sommelier’s wine selection. Huge thanks to the team at Beatrice for making our big day an elegant, fun and delicious success.
