I visited this brunch spot on September 20 with friends after seeing it recommended on TikTok and had been looking forward to trying it for some time. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet expectations in terms of service and food quality.
Food : We ordered the French Toast, which turned out to be quite disappointing. Instead of being soft and fluffy, it was uncomfortably too soggy. While the edible flowers added a nice visual touch, the plate had no flavor. The syrup tasted artificial and of low quality. The dish itself felt incomplete for the price, consisting mainly of two slices of French Toast, syrup, flowers, and a few small pieces of fruits —extras such as bacon or cheese required an additional charge.
Service: The service was unfortunately very poor. Our server appeared indifferent and unwelcoming, and it took nearly 30 minutes before our orders were taken—only after we asked if we could place them. A pitcher of water was left on the table, but no one came to check on us during the meal. Each time we needed something, we had to flag someone down. We even had to ask for the bill, and only then did the waiter attempt to be friendly and make conversation. By that point, however, the effort felt insincere since we had essentially received no service throughout the meal.
Atmosphere: The space is decorated with flowers throughout, creating a cute aesthetic similar to what’s often highlighted on TikTok. However, the dining area itself is quite small and feels cramped, and the seating was not particularly comfortable.
Overall, while the café has an appealing look, the experience was underwhelming. I truly wish I could share more positive feedback, but both the service and food quality left us disappointed. In my opinion, it does not live up...

You drive over, pay for parking. At the entrance? A massive line. You join the crowd, squeezed into a tiny, narrow space where people can’t even extend a hand without bumping into someone else mid-bite. No big deal—you didn’t call ahead for a reservation, so you’re willing to wait.
Finally, you’re seated. The ceiling is beautiful, everything covered in flowers. Then your eyes roll down. The menu is shockingly minimal, the prices painfully high. Expensive for a brunch, but hey, maybe it’s worth it! You point to a french avocado toast and place your order. Then you wait. And wait. Thirty minutes pass, and you remind yourself—it’s just a toast, for $25 bucks… how complicated can its preparation be?
At last, your plate arrives. It looks stunning—garnished with flowers, sprinkled with something fancy, absolutely Instagram-worthy. You take the first bite.
And all you taste is bitter disappointment. Stale avocado. Inedible flowers, tasteless watery tomatoes. Burnt bread. You choke it down, the realization sinking in: I probably just got robbed by appearance. Your eyes meet with your partner seating in front that has ordered something else, even more pricey - both with the same indignantion.
Still, you smile, leave a tip, and rush out—because the waitstaff is already eyeing your table, silently reminding you that another poor soul is lined up outside, ready to take your place.

Read moreI recently visited Bloomfield and was really impressed by how beautiful the space is — stylish, cozy, and well thought-out. I also absolutely loved my dish; the avocado toast was delicious, and my pistachio latte was incredible — one of the best I’ve had!
Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. When I mentioned I was taking the avocado toast, the waitress asked if I wanted potatoes. I said no, and she asked what I wanted instead. As it was my first time there, I asked what the options were, and she suggested dips. I assumed one was included with the dish, so I chose the beet dip. She never clarified that sides weren’t included, which led to an unexpected $9 extra charge when I also ordered pita to go with it. Honestly, who adds beet dip to a breakfast order without some kind of bread?
To make matters worse, when the bill came, she had written out the tip amount herself — 18% — based on the new tipping law. While I understand gratuities are customary, I felt pressured into tipping a percentage I wouldn’t have chosen given the service. She didn’t explain the menu, wasn’t friendly, and never cracked a smile.
The food and ambiance at Bloomfield were lovely, but unfortunately, the lack of clear communication and unfriendly service made the experience less enjoyable than it...
