I went to Bossa in Timeout Market with my family after my son's (8 yr old) hockey practice. The reason I am writing this review is to commend your establishment on hiring such excellent staff. My son has severe autism, and he is very prone to getting aggressive and having tantrums, especially when he is overstimulated. Valentina served us and, even though my son was cranky and unfocused, she was so pleasant and patient with my son. She asked my son what he likes to eat and he told her he loves spaghetti, so she suggested the meatball sub (without the hot peppers). Really knowledgeable about the ingredients. He's very picky with his food (because of his autism) but she was so helpful with finding a sandwich for my son to eat. My son loved it! I got the Porchetta and it was delicious. The food was hot, fresh, delicious and the service was impeccable! We are so glad to have picked Bossa instead of one of the other restaurants in TimeOut. Unfortunately, the food court was too loud for our son so we took it to go. Thank you Valentina and Bossa crew for helping a tired mom out with your compassion and for such a great experience! What a lovely family-owned restaurant with family-like staff. We will definitely...
Read moreI regularly go to bossa on wellington and masson and always find it top. But tonight on st Catherine what a deception... On top of it I keep telling my girlfriend and my kid that the sandwiches are delicious and that they have to try it so finally tonight we finally went... the only place that was open was st Catherine... usually bossa sandwiches are immaculate, they usually just hold themselves and the ingredients are all the right place.but tonight it was just thrown together, oily greassy, the steak and pepperoni was drenching in grease the cutlet was horrible and dry, sandwich looked sad. Almost nothing in it. the bread was soggy and not like usual.. its you see the diffrence when owners are not there i guess... wellington and st Catherine have an army working when you go.. but not st Catherine.. and its funny but as soon i got there and i saw the kiosquei told my girlfriend doesn'tlook like its going to be the same.. just doesn't feel right... I kept trying to convince my girlfriend that this place does not represent the bossa that I know... I would shut that place down to keep the goodness and the brand of the 2 other joints. So disappointing.. by reading other reviews I think it...
Read more*Edit/Update: I am so happy to change my rating to 5 stars! I finally found some time to return, as per the gracious offer from the Bossa team. Luca truly went above and beyond to make up for what was an honest mix-up. I cannot overstate just how gracious, generous and kind he was. The sandwich of course (and the cannoli and coffee ice cream -- sorry I forgot the name!) were all amazing in quality and taste, but their response to the situation and service really pushed it to an even higher level. I'm very grateful and thankful to Luca and the whole Bossa team. I look forward to coming back and trying out the rest of the menu, as well as recommending you to all of my friends/fam. 😊
Grazie and until next time - Sahar
I'm so sad right now. I ordered a Classico to go about an hour ago. It was wrapped and taped up so I wasn't able to check it until I got home. I opened it, and there is literally not one single slice of mortadella or any meat of any kind. Everything is in there except for the mortadella, which is kind of the "main" part. I'm really surprised and disappointed that this happened 😔 I was so excited...
