Tunnel Espresso Bar Time Out — Restaurant in Montreal

I love their products and I go out of my way to buy from them rather than the many other surrounding coffee places that are much closer to my work (it takes me 12-15 min to walk to this one vs 2 min walk to starbucks). Unfortunately, today, I was very disappointed with the service. They are supposed to close at 4 and I arrived at 3:56 and when I tried to order an espresso, the girl with the short blond hair told me in a dry manner that they were closed. She must of started the shop closing way too early if she had finalized her closing ahead of the actual advertised time. An espresso isn’t a big order, so I was quite surprised. From start to finish this place was not great. Asked about what was in the donuts as my girlfriend has some allergies and the employee working was the least bit helpful saying “I don’t know I’ve never had one before.” Mean while they did not bother to ask the other two coworkers if they know what’s in it. We decided to just order drinks instead and while waiting they same person working the cash had forgot to send the order through so we waited and waited until the other person working had asked if we ordered. They had rushed to make our chai lattes and not sure if it was just being rushed to make it since we had forgotten or this person did not know how to make a chai but they were over powering I’d need another litre of milk to down these. I rarely write reviews ever, but I truly find myself wondering if your staff actually wants to serve customers or not. The owner of this place should really take customers' comments seriously regarding how unpleasant your customer service can be! You have received a number of very negative comments about your customer service. Extremely weird and unpleasant way of greeting customers who are paying for the items and tips!
