Worse experience ever. Visiting Montreal for the weekend and ordered 2 pizzas from the location at 1428 Stanley St, Montreal, Quebec H3A 1P7 to deliver at my Hotel. They sent the wrong order, when contacting the driver, he told me the place gave him that order. The receipt had a different name and they delivered a pizza not even close to the 2 i ordered. When i called the place, the only thing they told me was to re-order and pay again. Unbelievable. I told them that they need it to resolve the issue since it was their fault. After nore than 1.5 hrs dealing over the phone about this, the only aolution was to re-do the order and for me to pick it up. Yes, sound as a joke but it was real. After deciding to pick the order, when i show up at the place, no apologiE or anything. I brought them the pizA they delivered since it was not even close to my order and also the receipt was for another person. When they gave me my order, Unbelievable again wrong order. The pizzas not even cl9se to what i ordered. I was so upset, they didn't provide any solution. Looks like they had the manager on the phone a d not even apologize for the issue. Since they disnt have a solution for me, i told them to gave me my money back, since at that point I didnt want anything from them. This is 2.5 hrs later. I asked them to give me the cash since I paid with credit card. After the guy in the place, goingn circle for 15 mins more he put the cash on the counter and disnt want it to give it to me. Unbelievable. Told him my car was in the middle of the street and he didn't want it to give it to me. Finally i got my cash and left. No apologies or anything. 3 people there for staff and none provides any solution or apologize. I do not recommend this olace to anyone. Worse service ever. Unbelievable that no ideas from them to provide a solution for the customer. I will not order anything from this people again. @Brigade worse service ever. Worse experience ever. Brigade Pizzeria Napolitaine located at 1428 Stanley St, Montreal, Quebec H3A 1P7

I ordered from your website directly. I didnt ordered from any other service. I went directly to your web page. So the responsibility is your. Anyway this is my opinion and service was terrible. Worse...

Haven't been to this place in a couple of years (pre-COVID) so was excited to eat their pizza once again!

My lady friend always has a Margherita and I ordered the Butcher (Italian Sausage, Ham & Bacon). My pizza was somewhat overdone but quite edible.

Unfortunately my friend's pizza was extremely overdone to the point of being "burnt toast".(see photos).

Needless to say, it was another major disappointment to dining outside the home since COVID restrictions were relaxed.

ADDENDUM - in reply to Brigade's response to my initial posting above.

Hello JD,

We have been patronizing your establishment for a few years and was always very satisfied with your pizzas.

Of course, that was pre-COVID days when we lived in the Plateau so it's a short trip via STM bus. However we're now living in St-Leonard and the trip took over one hour but we figured it would be worth it because of the high quality of your pizza.

In fact, my lady friend says your Margherita pizza is one of BEST she's ever eaten due to the crust which she knows it's because you use "00-flour".

That's why she was in shock and so disappointed to get this very burnt pizza. She noticed that everybody else's pizzas looked the same so she was reluctant to complain.

In hindsight and your comments, we should have brought this matter to Grace's attention.

Also, my sincere apology for the "lack of heat" remark (which I have since deleted from my original review). It was written in the "heat of the moment" (no pun intended).

So I've upgraded this review to 3-stars and hopefully the next time we come - it will be the usual "Five Star" experience like those prior visits to...

As a life long pizza lover, when I heard of a place that was offering a real Detroit style, I was sold.

I went there and had the deep dish detroit style with Pepperoni. I knew something was about to happen when I asked her about the baking time and she told me 6 minutes. I told myself ''you cannot cook a deep dish pizza in 6 minutes'', thats when she grabbed a thick loaf of bread... Thats when I understood, they use pre-made bread.

I have nothing against this technique, if it enhanced or at least didnt diminish the quality of the food.

The bread itself was fantastic, it had golden crispy edges and it as fluffy enough. I cant complain about the cheese but it needed more cooking time as well as for the sauce, it was too bland it needed extra time to caramelize. The pepperoni were desperate to see some more eat, once again, the ingredients were not the problem, the idea of delivering this type of pizza in such short amount of time took a chunk out of the pizza in term of flavors. It honestly tasted and felt like a lunchable for adults with a premium price tag.

I wouldnt mind waiting 30-45 minutes for a fresh dough and for everything to cook together, I think its a very reasonable thing to ask.

I have to mention they have two beautiful wood oven, thats the reason why I will return to try...

I visited Brigade Pizzeria MTL for dinner on a Friday night during a recent solo trip to the city and it did not disappoint! I ordered the Brooklynn pizza with a side of garlic knots and marinara. The garlic knots were doughy with just the right amount of flavour. The portion size was generous. The pizza was also delicious. I particularly liked the sesame seeds on the crust, which gave it a little extra flavour. It also have just the right amount of wood-fried flavour. The pepperoni was tasty with a little bit of spicy. I wasn't expecting to have enough food for my lunch the next day, but my order would definitely feed two people. The service was excellent and the waitress brought a water pitcher to my table which I really appreciated. This is a cute little spot with a homey feel and atmosphere. It was so much fun to watch the workers get the pizzas ready. The one small complaint I would have was that it was quite chilly sitting close to the door. Thank you Bridgade for the delicious meal!

Walking in the vibe is really chill, and the restaurant is inexpensive. Our whole meal with drinks was around 40$. There is a little area at the door where you'd wait to be seated, but there wasn't like a line, and it wasn't crowded, just a few people scattered around. The food was amazing. I got the chicken panino sandwich, and it was really good. It's basically grilled chicken with sauce, onions, grilled bread, etc. I was with my cousins, and they had the Margherita pizza (just a cheese pizza with like sauce), and they said it was really good. The lady who seated us and took our order was super nice and patient. She answered all our questions on options and ingredients for our orders. It's also really cool because you can watch them make the food depending on where you're sitting, so that's a fun little experience. All in all, it was an amazing, flavorful experience. - Servers speak both French and English.
