Bulk Barn — Restaurant in Montreal

The staff in this store today was exceptionally impolite and refused to sell me something I wanted that they had in stock, but was in the back of the store. I was looking for some Valentines Candy that they traditionally clear out after the 14th, they said they had some but were not able to get it out yet because it hadn't been packaged the way they like to set it up (in bags of around one pound). One employee told me to wait and they would get me some; I waited ten minutes and the other employee in the store curtly told me "we will not sell you any today, the boss told me not to package it." My only problem with this store is that they have less and less baking supplies! This outlet seems to, slowly, being transformed into a grocery store (or the likes)...

If you want a bigger baking selection, I suggest going to the bulk barn in DDO... You'll find there even things you'd usually have to order online...

I've put off visiting this store for a few years, but finally made the trip. I have to say, the large selection is very exciting as there are many products I haven't seen in a while, or haven't tried altogether. Very clean and organized compared to others stores of its type.
