I donât usually leave reviews, but this Tim Hortons location seriously needs to address its management. I went in, ordered a 10-pack of Timbits â not even a large order â and politely asked if I could get half of one flavor and half of another. The manager â an older, short lady with red hair â flat-out said no, claiming I can only get 2 Timbits per flavor or 4 of one flavor, and the rest must be random. What?
Thatâs not a real policy. Iâve been to multiple Timâs in town â even this one â and the staff always lets me choose what I want, no issue. It honestly felt like she wanted to assert authority for no reason, like she owns the place. And when I tried to clarify, she gave me a rude tone like I was bothering her. Totally unnecessary.
What makes it worse is she probably just made up that rule. We even looked into it afterward â thereâs no official Tim Hortons policy that limits how many Timbits of a certain flavor you can request. Other locations and even staff at this same store have always been flexible. Itâs just her.
Donât be fooled by the way she talks, either. Sometimes she throws in endearing little phrases to seem polite, but when an actual issue comes up â or when sheâs talking to her staff â her true behavior shows. Cold, dismissive, and just plain rude.
I donât get why management would put someone like that in charge. Itâs not about pretending customers are always right â itâs about staying neutral and respectful. If you canât even do that, you probably shouldnât be running the front.
Other employees here are great, and the food is fine â but her attitude ruins the whole vibe. If this Tim Hortons location actually cares about customer experience, this is the kind of thing they...
Read moreWe were picking up some breakfast to go visit my grandma as we were visiting from out of province. While ordering, the person taking our order sounded confused so we clarified politely as there was no reason to get frustrated, but the person taking order was clearly annoyed and that showed in the rest of the interaction. When we got to the window, they were all really rude and cold, not that you need to be bubbly (itâs fast food, so I get how tough it can be) but I worked fast food while in high school and even though I wasnât excited to be there, I wasnât giving out attitude for no reason. When we got our order I just went to quickly look to see if we had everything just because of the initial confusion and almost right away all the staff by the window all at once shouted âleave!â. I worked customer service jobs, even to this day I do, and never have I ever treated someone like that, not even when myself or my coworkers (past and present) have dealt with disrespectful customers or patients like that.
When I got to my grandmas, I mentioned what happened and she mentions how she no longer goes to this location because of how sheâs been treated. This lady is really one of the sweetest and probably most overly accommodating individuals, so hearing this also bothered me quite a bit.
I feel like leadership shows their staff what is an acceptable way to act, and it seems like itâs failing them. Yes customer service is hard and can be frustrating, but you need to learn to keep certain things in check or else youâll just allow yourself to be an angry individuals like the ones...
Read moreWe ordered a steak and cheese sandwich and clarified with the cashier if thats all there is inside. She said yes. We get our order and thereâs bacon inside. We asked them to make another one. They just simply removed the bacon from the original. At first we were going to eat it but then we see some bacon underneath the sandwich. We tried to ignore it and not cause any problems and took 1 bit and it was so salty. I had my daughter go up and try to return it. I was like letâs just get our money back bc we donât trust them making the sandwich. While my daughter explained to the lady 3 times why we were returning it the worker proceeded to get the manager & speak in their language not thinking my daughter would understand. Calling her a âKarinâ she came to get me saying they were giving her trouble to return the sandwich. I got up & was wondering what is the problem. The manager starts speaking so loud saying why are you returning it? I can make a new one. I told her why and that we werenât comfortable eating the sandwich any more. She went to the cash and told the next guy is line rudely to move and go to the other cash bc she needs to make a return. He was not happy with her tone, and was telling herâŠShe is very deceiving. She even gave us a compliment when we walked in. Her tone changed drastically when something wasnât...
