Hello? I can't help but defend my friend who, besides terrible service (but delicious coffee), received not only a rude comment but also a disrespectful one under her review here. It's likely that the owner/manager of the Humble Lion deals with dissatisfied customers daily if they make mistakes like this. Yesterday afternoon, my friend came to treat herself to a takeout coffee. As a result, they made her the wrong drink she initially ordered, and when she asked to change it, she encountered inappropriate behavior from the barista (but he changed it after all, thanks!:). I think the last thing we want to deal with in such a situation is rudeness. My friend decided to share her review of the café here, and instead of apologies, she encountered rudeness again. I personally haven't tried the coffee and desserts at this place, but what happened completely kills any desire to come and play roulette: will they be rude to you today, or will they behave next time. Today I go in and ask for a latte with half 1% milk and half 3.8% milk (because they don’t have 2%), as I have been doing at the other humble lion and practically every other coffee shop I’ve ever went to. The guy tells me we don’t mix milks, I told him I always ask for that, he tells me “I’m the manager here and we don’t mix milks”. I indicated right away that we would be slow in ordering because I had to explain the menu options to the students. The young man at the cash was very rude.
