Café Lali (1850 Notre-Dame St W, Montreal, Quebec H3J 1M5) - is a place with a super interesting concept, one I've seen many times in Europe, especially in Paris! 🎨☕ It's a small but very cozy cafe with a great interior that immediately catches the eye with its originality and atmosphere. You can enjoy great coffee here, although, in my opinion, it's a bit over-roasted. ☕ But that's a matter of taste, and overall, the coffee here is really good. And the pastries are super delicious! 🥐 Fresh, fragrant, with a variety of fillings - the perfect complement to a cup of coffee. Café Lali is more than just a coffee shop. There are a lot of cool paintings and other various art objects here, which create a special atmosphere. 🖼️ You can not only enjoy coffee and pastries but also look at the art, purchase something for your collection, or simply get inspired. This makes this place unique. Overall, Café Lali is a great place for those who appreciate not only good coffee and food but also art. 💯 I recommend stopping by to enjoy superb coffee, try delicious pastries, and briefly immerse yourself in this unique and inspiring interior. 👍

Read moreWe were greeted with a friendly smile from a woman working behind the counter. She was very friendly and I had a great time talking to her about pets and the cafe. There was also another woman with her dog there, and she said the cafe is also dog friendly which is great!
I liked that the cafe was also a gallery. If you look around, you’ll see paintings. The decor/aesthetic was chic, modern, and clean. A lot of sun was entering the cafe, which made it even nicer. There are also some items you can purchase there, such as coffee paper filters.
The snacks also looked delicious and unique. There were cookies and scones from what I remember. We ordered an iced matcha latte, which was delicious. In addition to coffee and such, they also sell smoothies here too. I was also happy to see an assortment lactose free milk substitutes, such as almond and oat milk!
Overall a very pleasant experience here and the...
Read moreBefore I share my disappointment I have to say this was one of my favorite coffee places in MTL till today. Beautiful art and Delicious coffee. I have been at this coffee shop a couple of times but my latest visit was disappointing. Prior, i had only gotten coffee and hangout with my SO but today i went to get my coffee with my laptop to do some reading. About 15-20 minutes after I sat down, a guy came and put a tag on the table I was seated at that read: "one can use the sitting area on a laptop for one hour per consommation" to paraphrase. I took this gesture personally because I couldn't help but wonder if 1) this is regular policy and 2) why wasn't this tag on the table before I sat? Mind you, the shop was empty it's not like it was busy and people were lucking sitting spaces. I just stood up shortly after that and left. I could not focus after...
