Lord William Pub — Restaurant in Montreal

An amazing find! Hidden pub but very clearly loved.

It's busy but the servers were on point. When we entered, my husband waited outside the bathrooms for me and the waiter checked on him to make sure he was okay. That waiter got us seats even though there wasn't any, threw a table together and was super speedy with our order. I didn't get his name but he was truly awesome!

Got chicken wings and man, they were so good. Grilled with this perfect crisp, didn't even take a picture, I just devoured it. They have to be dipped into the sauce though I'm sure you can ask for it tossed in the sauce. Either way, it was too good to even complain.

Fries not included but when it came, it was huge. Not like those other pubs that give you a handful and call it a day. No, nooo they picked the biggest potatoes/sweet potatoes known to man and you could share one bowl between two people of even three!

This place is awesome. I stopped by Lord William with a small group of friends to sit on the socially distanced terrace to watch game 1 of the Canadiens series. It was a surreal feeling to be watching playoff hockey again and I’m happy we chose the best spot in the city for the occasion. They have a beautiful TV set up outside and they offer the whole food and drink menu. The place is very professional, all the staff are wearing the proper protective gear and everything is well distanced and mandatory hand sanitizing upon entry. The nachos are without a question the best nachos in Montreal and I challenge anyone to prove me wrong. I also had the bacon cheeseburger which was very good.
