This is not a paid review, it’s actually my first review. As someone that lived in West Africa for 17 years ( I’m 18 ) this place is amazing. If you miss the cooking from back home this place is for you. The quality of the food is great, to the point that it matches the quality of the West African food I eat back home in Guinea The quantities are generous. Except if you don’t want to be a able to walk back home the quantities should suffice you The customer service is great. I’ve been there often to the point that I get recognized when I get there and I’m served quickly. The prices are okay. I’m talking as a student, so for a working adult it must be very cheap but I guarantee you can eat very well for 13 dollars ( with taxes ) and nothing on the cards exceed 15 dollars anyways. There is internet, which for my generation is always good The location is perfect. As soon as you get off Cote-Vertu and walk for a bit, you’re there One of my favorite places to eat in Montreal. The waiter tried arguing with me saying some dishes take more time, yet again people that came after us got their food. We decided to pay for the appetizer and leave. While the guy behind the counter was arguing with me, this other lady came out of the kitchen asking what was going on, she told us to go back and sit, while we were waiting for our change back. 0 manner of customer service. WE NEVER GOING BACK THERE!! If I could put 0...

At some point during my stay in Senegal, I developed such a total obsession with tieboudienne, which I had it for lunch nearly every day. Many years had past since my stay in Senegal, but every time I remember Senegal, I remember tieboudienne .. and my mouth starts watering. I now live in Toronto, where tieboudienne is hard to find. Visiting Montreal and having delicious tieboudienne Chez Khady brought back many great memories for me, especially because I paired it with jus de Bissap. What a special and delicious experience it was!...
