Disappointing Hygiene Standards for Such an Upscale Gym

I’ve been trying the Atwater Club for one month , and while the facilities are generally nice and the atmosphere is meant to reflect a high-end fitness experience, I’m really disappointed with the cleanliness and upkeep — especially when it comes to the gym mats used in classes.

Many of the mats are very old, worn out, and even starting to rot, which is unacceptable for a club that promotes itself as a premium establishment. What’s even worse is that after classes, people simply put the mats back without cleaning them, and there seems to be no staff oversight or sanitation policy in place. It’s unpleasant and unsanitary.

For such an expensive and prestigious gym, this lack of basic hygiene and maintenance is a real shame. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and replaces the mats while enforcing proper cleaning practices — it’s the least one should expect from a facility of...
