Overpromise & Underdeliver
The speciality of this Korean restaurant is fried chicken. Unfortunately, it was far below my expectations.
Let’s talk about why it deserves a one star.
No matter how good or bad your food is, customer service should always come first. My wife called at 5:40pm (in the car) to place a small order (full chicken fried). We were told that they can get it ready in 15 minutes. My wife looked at Google maps and it indicated 25 minutes, so she said we’ll arrive in 25 minutes. They said : perfect, that’ll be great. We arrived at the restaurant at 6:12pm (27 minutes later). I enter the restaurant for pickup and the cashier tells me it’ll be ready in 2 minutes. I tell him that I’ll wait in my car since I have kids in the car. Two minutes later, I enter the store. This time, he checks with the chef (big mistake, he should have done that first time). The chef tells him 6 minutes. I come back in 6 minutes and it’s still not ready…. While I explain my unsatisfaction, the cashier tells me : Sir, we need your cooperation. As you can see, we have many orders. I tell him that’s not my problem, that’s your problem. I waited 25 minutes + 2 + 8. In other words, I waited 10 more minutes. Do I get compensated for my time ? No. So how is your mismanagement my problem ? We gave you additional time to prepare our order. Good customer service would offer compensation and will never talk back to customer, especially when you’re at fault.
Now moving to food quality and quantity. For a fried chicken store, it’s quite disappointing. Go to Olivia’s fried chicken restaurant (pricier) or Comon (much better quality and quantity for slightly more expensive) in the nearby area for a better experience.
PS: My wife says : they used Costco’s sweet thai chili sauce for their spicy chicken sauce!
All in all, first time customer...

I got the bestie combo to share with my friend and it does say on the poster that it is good for 2-3 people but I would even say it's good for 4 people. You get 40 wings, a side of fries, miso soup, salads, and sauces. It is truly a little feast. We had to take more than half of it home and I was able to have it for 2 more meals. Very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get.
My favourites were the black pink wings and the creamy onion wings. The creamy onion have this amazing sour creme ish sauce, it was the best sauce I've had in my entire life. I would come back just for the creamy onion wings alone. The black pink were a great mix of sweet and tangy, the tao were very true to the general tao taste, and the regular were fried perfectly (not too greasy or heavy, very light and flufy). The cheese fries had powder on them and it was great because the cheese powder actually stuck to the fries and didn't sink to the bottom of the bowl. The miso soup, salad, and radish were great palette cleansers. Everything is fresh, tasty, and...
Read moreI ordered ramen with dumplings for around $15 and was very disappointed with the ramen with the quality of the ramen.
Tbh it seems like they took a regular store bought ¢50 ramen, prepared the noodles separate from the powdered broth to which they added to hot water, and then placed the dumplings with the noodles along with a very sparing selection of vegetables.
I felt like I was a victim of fraud. Far to over priced.
Why are you selling people packaged ¢50 ramen for some absurd price when you're not even complementing it with anything substantially filling.
Fraudulent ramen.
Far too inferior compared to what you can get for the same price elsewhere. Thai express for example.
To be fair i haven't tried anything else there, I know chicken is their specialty. But I wouldn't recommend the ramen in any shape or form to anyone.
Please make your own broth, and please invest in better noodles if you cannot make your own. They're should be nothing that obviously fraudulent on your menu. I encourage you to do better.
All in all the service was nice, and was otherwise a...
