Eko Sushi — Restaurant in Montreal

Most important thing to know, this restaurant is open until 9!!! It's a block away from the Atwater outdoor veggie/meat market.

This is a hybrid fast takeout restaurant and a sit-in sushi bar. There are about 8 tables where you can sit and eat in.

The prices are fair (see the pics) and there is a lot of choice. The sushi rolls that I got were huge, but I don't know if that's normal size or if it was because they were crab tempura and shrimp tempura rolls. They both came with ginger and wasabi. There was no offer of a low salt sodium soy sauce.

The only hot tea is a Vietnamese style with a rice husk background flavour, as described to me by the owner. Not my favourite kind of tea, but I did drink the whole pot. And now that I look at the bill, it looks like they forgot to charge me for it. I never mentioned to them that it wasn't my favourite tea until at the very end when he asked me what I thought.

Amazing food, even better customer service!! My online order was "lost" to, what appears to be a hack to DoorDash's system. Two dashers showed up within 5 minutes of each other and my order was cancelled by the second (legit) Dasher. The owner of the restaurant, despite losing money on the first order, recreated the order and personally drove to my place to deliver it, despite being out of their delivery zone. Went there twice. Would not return. The first time I went I ordered worth of 70$. I had a hard time getting a fidelity card and they would only stamp worth of 50$ (before the freebie). I though maybe this was just a mistake on their side, they were about to close. I ordered again, this time by phone. I took the time to ask if lunch prices would also count in the fidelity card, made an order to buy worth of 40$. They would only stamp once. They argue the customers would fill the card too fast if they give a stamp per 10$ (which is not what the card says).The lunch plate was bad, im not even sure the sushis contained fish it was so scarse.
