French Takos — Restaurant in Montreal

My instinct told me to walk past it, but I thought I would try. The order taker barely understood anything English or French. At one point I felt that I would need to break out a pencil and paper to draw him pictures of my order. When I finally received it, he wanted to give me a can soft drink but I preferred fountain cup to refill. He explained that the coke was not working, as if that was an excuse to steer me to the cans. Then he forgot to give me a cup, and stepped in the back. So I waited patiently until he came back to the front and I asked for a cup again. It’s like he forgot again in less than another minute. I felt like I was talking to a goldfish. Then the cook came to the front to kiss a friend, totally ignoring me still waiting at the counter for a cup. Being first time, they never asked what sauce(s) I wanted at all. No cup for the trio, no sauces. Sad bunch. Half the tables were left dirty from last visitors.

Taco presentation: excellent. Flavour: excellent. Size/$ (I took XL taco): poor. Atmosphere: poor. Service: non existent. Communication/inviting: useless. First and definitely last time. Henri Bourassa...

Probably never going to order from this place again. This is the third time that my order has been wrong (I order in person, not on Uber not skip etc). I made the mistake of not checking my bag last night and once I arrived home I noticed I was missing a wrap. It was frustrating because when I was waiting at the restaurant, the cashier was just standing around, not doing much, mask under her chin, watching tv. She made me feel strange about ordering two XL Takos, saying it was a lot... Dunno. Weird vibes here. I did go back and get my sandwich but it was a bit of a headache. I understand places get busy and people make mistakes but there wasn't a rush at the time of my order, so I don't understand what's up with that. 🤷‍♀️ Bunker because I like the food but there's other places who...

Good food, but horrible customer service. Don't even bother calling, if they pick up the phone, which happened one time out of 5 calls, they will be disrespectful, put the phone down while speaking with other customers, pay no respect to the fact you're with them. On top of that, they mess up orders ! (last time we got 2 out of the same sandwich, which was full of mushrooms and one of the person we ordered for was allergic to these... So we had to order from some place else in the end!). And please, don't tell me I can complain on their part; they don't even answer the phone or consider you when you come in person to order something. It once took 35 min to get an order, and my husband went in person. Too bad their food is good, because the rest...
