We have been in that place a couple of times before. The food is overall good. We always ordered the Korean BBQ for 2, the chef/owner is always keeping an eye on the grill since it seems that they don’t have enough ventilation and it might trigger a smoke alarm on. The past times he was always “recommending” how to cook our meat. But today he and his daughter were there so many times that became annoying. The girl even got upset because my husband separated the meat from the veggies, which at the end of the day, if wrong cooked, that’s our food and our decision to make. The worst part was when they got angry when our toddler was making noise on the table (not screaming not crying) just playing with the cup. We were “controlling” his movements so he wouldn’t cause any damage to the furniture or even the own cutlery. But they were always “watching” on my toddler and us. The atmosphere became annoying and we finished our food as quickly as we could and we just left. I have to say there were more kids in other tables making “noises” but we were the only table the staff was over looking. If they are not willing to have any noise from families they should state it is not a family place or kid friendly restaurant. It was a shame because it was one of our fav restaurants from the area but the situation was so Uncomfortable that we are never...
Read moreIt was terrible. I usually don’t give 1 star but this place deserves 0 star. First of all, there is no waiter or waitress, one person does all the job so he is a waiter and a cook. The service was horrible, he was extremely rude with us. Since i went there with my friend who is not korean, we talked in french so i guess he didn’t know that i was korean. While he was cooking in the kitchen he said so so so so many bad words in korean like ssibal really loud that i could hear from my table. I ordred a bibimbap which was BAD! It must come with gochujang or chojang which is a korean spicy paste but he puts some chili oil, i was like are you serious? My friend ordered a yaki udon and it was SOOO salty. So she literally had to dip the noodles in water to make it less salty. I’m 100% sure that he accidentally dropped his salt box in the yaki udon. I beg you guys pleaseeee do not eat at this restaurant. This is NOT korean food, the service is bad, the food is bad,...
Read moreI went the other night for dinner with my wife and overall enjoyed ourselves. I'm glad I gave this place a try, even though I didn't think the food was all that extraordinary. I was hoping for something unique, but when I asked the waitress what she recommended, she mentioned the general tao, which wasn't at all why we went there. I ended up ordering the seafood udon in the stone bowl, which was good, but nothing to make it stand out from other stone bowls. I like the vibe of the place as it reminded me of the cute little bars in Japan with everyone having their own little section. Overall I wouldn't say the food is anything special, but worth a shot if you're living in the area. Don't come out of your way for it, would be my...
