I recently had the displeasure of visiting the McDonald's on Cote des Neiges, and my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. I cannot emphasize enough how disappointed I am with the slow service, irresponsible management, frequent order errors, employees arguing, and the overall dirty state of the establishment.
Firstly, the service at this McDonald's is incredibly slow. It seemed like the staff were moving at a snail's pace, with no sense of urgency or customer service. Waiting in line felt like an eternity, and even after finally placing my order, I had to wait an absurdly long time for my food to arrive.
To make matters worse, my order was consistently incorrect during my visit. It's not rocket science to get a basic burger and fries right, but somehow this McDonald's managed to mess it up multiple times. It was frustrating and disappointing to receive the wrong items, and the staff showed no sense of accountability or willingness to rectify the mistakes.
Furthermore, the cleanliness of this establishment left much to be desired. The tables were dirty, the floors were sticky, and the overall hygiene was appalling. It's unacceptable for a fast-food restaurant to have such a low standard of cleanliness, especially during peak hours when the place was bustling with customers.
Overall, I strongly advise against visiting the McDonald's on Cote des Neiges. The slow service, irresponsible management, repeated errors in orders, employees arguing, and the consistently dirty environment make for an absolutely terrible dining experience. My order was taken immediately but as I turned the corner to approach the window, I saw a car ahead of me, as well as a group of 8-12 people ON FOOT waiting at the drive thru window for their order. After OVER 25 minutes in line, it was finally my turn to receive my food (a chicken wrap, a McDouble, a junior chicken, a small frie, chicken nuggets, and a coke). I explained that I refused to pay for my order after such a long wait time (the longest I’ve EVER waited) because of your policy and also the temperature of the food. Your employee replied “we’re only 2 right now, so that’s why”. He completely disregarded my point of view, denied my request (although the policy is clearly outlined at all McDonald’s) and then proceeded to blame the whole issue on being understaffed. So naturally, I drove away without paying but also without my order that I had patiently been waiting for. Had I known that this would have been the outcome, I wouldn’t have ordered nor would I have waited in line for absolutely NO REASON.
