Maybe it’s because I’m cleaning my ring. I don’t know but my fiancé of 3 years and I went to purchase a simple Turkey sandwich and loaves of bread. While sitting waiting we had a desert to support the economy. The short woman with the long braid. I would assume is the manager or owner said the the server loud enough for us to hear “ get the sugar daddy out of here “ and we are not only offended ( I mean hey I guess I look younger than I am … being 30.. and my husband 54 with his birthday yesterday… he was so upset he stumbled his chair trying to leave as fast as we could possibly once we received our sandwich. I had to leave a review about it. It really hurt my feelings and our drive home. Tbh screw this place and who ever the short girl in the braid is… horrible looking woman...

This bread is well worth the price. Miette's sourdough is not remotely comparable to anything you buy at a supermarket or chain bakery.

This is organic, naturally leavened, preservative and additive free, slow food. This is artistry.

This is not cheap ingredients, not factory machine made, no fast synthetic yeast added.

There is skill and passion and Montreal are lucky to have this quality bread. It's not cheap bread.

Miette are making high quality sourdough which comes at a price. If you don't like paying for good quality or cannot afford it, this bakery is not for you. If you care about your health, your gut microbiome, your local community, your planet or just enjoy the finer things in life, this is for you!
