Worst service I have received in years. The waitress kept rolling her eyes even if we asked for basic things, like a glass of water after waiting for 20 minutes or napkins/utensils which she never brought.
Very disorganized and very unpleasant she refused to take orders of drinks and food at the same time claiming it was too complicated. In the odd moment during dinner that someone asked for another pint of beer her response would be: Not right now, later when I have my pad.
When I ordered my food I asked for a bbq dip on the side, but she quickly replied it was too much for her to remember and said I would have to ask again after I had received the food.
After a while that everyone was done eating, she asked if she could clear the tables which we happily agreed with, however before she could start one of the guests asked if they could have a takeout plate, she rolled her eyes yet again, gave them a plate almost throwing in on the table and left without clearing the table. When I saw her looking at a phone with her colleagues behind the counter and having a laugh, I finally got up and asked her that since she offered to clear the table, it would be nice to actually clear them.
The worst part is at the very end when she was giving the bills, she was choosing a 20% tip on the terminal and claiming it was mandatory for groups. When I asked her why, she claimed it was at her managers request. I told her I refused to pay 20% because the service was not good and she said to take it up with the manager.
When I complained to the manager he apologized and seemed surprise, he changed my tip to 15% but everyone else had already paid 20% which is unacceptable. He offered a complimentary shot which was very kind but ultimately even if the food was good the service made it a really...
Read moreWorst restaurant ever. This is the 4th time I order here via ubereats. And every time, there is a problem with my order. Each time I specifically choose the tater tots, they send me fries instead....and each time I order the Biblical Brie burger, there is the smallest amount of dates in it...literally just 2 tiniest dates tucked in the center of the bun. It is almost as if it is sarcasm. & mind you, they are the worst fries that exist. It is coming to a point where I am paying for a meal that UberEats refuses to refund and simply gives me $5 in credit for a $35 meal that this restaurant always gets wrong. I don't understand how hard it can be to simply follow instructions on an order? And if something is out of stock, then maybe have the decency to call and let the customer know of their options? No respect for customers. It is getting ridiculous... one time I even called them directly to make sure they send me tater tots as specified in my order after I placed it with UberEats, and guess what? THEY STILL SENT ME FRIES!! This restaurant's service is a joke. It is really sad as they have some good food, or atleast used to....and the horrible management and service is just ruining it. Last summer, I went there to eat on their patio, & I was also offered the worst service. I was seated for 20 minutes before a waiter came to greet us. The food took almost 1 hour to come to us...& no customer service whatsoever from the staff. Honestly, avoid this restaurant...
Read moreOutstanding. Walked in the restaurant in a sour mood after a disappointing experience at another restaurant and walked out in the highest spirits all week. The restaurant itself is a beauty: ceiling murals, leather seating, wood, brick, stimulating lighting. Bathrooms are clean and comfortable ( for all those in the know). The beef was the star of the burgers and I wholly recommend the 6 or 8 oz'er to get the best cooking temperature. Fry station pumped out some impressive tater tots and onion rings, complemented well by homestyle seasoned mayo selections. Micro-brews on tap as unstoppable pairing and a wine list to be explored. The owner/manager Dave was on the ground with his personnel seeing to the satisfaction of the clients which, having worked in the industry, speaks volumes to why this particular location is standing out. Some improvements for the last star: getting that signage on the bathrooms (though somehow I suspect Dave has something creative brewing to match the rest of the decor), and whipping up some homestyle ketchup (an economic, shelf durable recipe can be pulled off without breaking the bank/exerting disproportionate effort). Well done, the miracle (wink) we needed, and comfort food the way it should be. Save yourself the disappointment of a place like la belle et la boeuf and hit up this gem instead. (Dish Ref: double bacon cheese senior,...
