Pho Mymy — Restaurant in Montreal

Yikes. Staff not welcoming, nor are friendly or good at basic communication, the woman serving us moved at a laughable snails pace which led to eye rolling as we waited 10 minutes for her to put the food in the bag. We tried the banh mi sandwich combo, which came with a soup and a drink and also tried the chicken Katsu on skewers (which was instead microwaved nuggets). We ordered two pork and had to have chicken because there was no pork. The soup was just warm oily brown water with 2 tiny sad dumplings drowning inside. The sandwich was fine, but it was 90% bread, it had hardly any filling, unlike the pictures in the restaurant. I wouldn't go back or recommend it. Came here yesterday with my boyfriend. We're big viet food lovers. We both had the #10, which was a fairly big portion, but I have to say their soups should contain more meat. Although this pho was actually one of the most tasty I've had in a long time (the broth was delicious, the noodles too were satisfying), there was a bit of a lack of meat.

We also got the milk tea boba and the brown sugar boba. In terms of the milk tea, it was actually quite good. The brown sugar boba, on the other hand, was mediocre.

Their prices are great, and their bathrooms are well taken care of. The staff was nice. It did, however, seem like the waitress didn't quite want us there, although we went in when there was no one else in...

I use to come to this place all the time, but since the new management came in, the flavours are all off. I tried the spicy beef soup today, and sadly—the beef was not fresh. (took it out and placed it on the square dish in this photo) There were even green parts on the meat which told me it was expired. Even the smell wasn’t right. I thought it was me so I ate a piece—it was expired. I’m not a picky eater either. I’m a girl who can eat a jar of kimchi alone in one sitting.

If this is how it’s going to be from now on, I won’t be coming back and I’ll have to find a new...
