Pizzéria NO.900 - Jean-Talon — Restaurant in Montreal

I’m honestly so disappointed with this pizza spot. We went there expecting to have a nice, relaxed meal, but the whole experience was ruined by how pushy the staff was, possibly the owner, I’m not sure.

We ordered two large pizzas and drinks, and while I was still eating, the guy came over and asked, “Are you still eating?” I said, “Yes, I’m enjoying it,” but then he immediately followed up with, “Do you want me to box it?” I was shocked. why would I want to box my food when it’s still on my plate and I’m clearly eating it? If I needed a box, I’d tell him. It felt so disrespectful, like he was trying to pressure me into leaving.

I reluctantly agreed to let him box the food because I felt so uncomfortable, but after that, we decided to stay and finish our drinks. That’s when he came back AGAIN, asking if we wanted another drink or the bill. At that point, it was obvious he wanted us to leave, even though we weren’t done and the place wasn’t even busy. there were plenty of empty tables, so we weren’t taking up space or anything.

It felt incredibly disrespectful to be rushed through a meal, especially when we spent a decent amount of money on two large pizzas and multiple drinks. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect more than an hour to enjoy your food without being constantly pressured to leave. This whole experience felt so bad, and I won’t be...

Typically, I'm not a fan of franchise restaurants, but Pizzeria 900 at Jean Talon Market is a delightful exception. This place offers an experience far removed from the typical franchise pizza spot.

It has pizza in their name, and they deliver!! The meat lovers pizza with extra goat cheese is amazing!!!

We stopped by Pizzeria NO.900 right by Jean Talon Market in the heart of Little Italy of Montreal, and honestly, it was the perfect break during a day of exploring. Yes, it’s a Canadian chain, but this spot proves that chains can absolutely deliver on quality. The pizza was a total win, light, perfectly blistered crust, rich tomato sauce, and a generous layer of toppings. Mine came with creamy cheese, shaved Parmesan, olives, and fresh basil on top. It looked beautiful and tasted even better. Paired with a cold Coke and a bit of that spicy house oil? Chef’s kiss. We sat outside in the sunshine, with a view over the market, enjoying the breeze and people-watching while chatting and taking our time. The service was lovely too, relaxed, friendly, and quick. If you love pizza, you really can’t go wrong here. Whether you're a tourist looking to refuel or a local craving something reliably delicious, NO.900 hits the spot.

Auch wenn es sich um eine kanadische Kette handelt, zeigt dieser Laden ganz klar, dass Kette nicht gleich langweilig bedeutet. Die Pizza war richtig gut: ein dünner, fluffiger Boden mit leicht knusprigem Rand, fruchtige Tomatensauce, cremiger Käse, schwarze Oliven und frisch geriebener Parmesan obendrauf. Als Krönung ein Blatt frisches Basilikum in der Mitte. Dazu gab’s eisgekühlte Cola und ein wenig vom hauseigenen scharfen Öl, einfach perfekt. Wir saßen draußen bei Sonnenschein, hatten Blick auf das bunte Markttreiben und konnten ganz entspannt plaudern und genießen. Der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und angenehm unaufgeregt.
