EDIT: Changing the review to one star due to 1) them REPEATEDLY messing up my orders on UberEats in the same way at least 3 times in recent past ——i have never once asked for a hard corn tortilla shell as i find them disgusting, yet i REPEATEDLY get hard corn tortillas despite always marking soft flour in my order. The quality control has actually gotten WORSE since my last review. this is ignoring the fact that any time i go to this location in person to order, theres always at least 1 or two employees who act like customers ordering food is a severe inconvenience, tho there is usually always one person who is nice as well.
Is it so hard for you guys to get an order right that I only ever get what i actually order thru uber eats maybe 1 time in 4 or 5? Most of the errors consistently made are minor and ignorable (almost always giving me the wrong type of beans), but the fact that they have multiple times now given me the wrong type of tortilla completely ruins the meal for me. I dont think it is too much to ask, as a paying and frequent customer to actually get the food i ordered more than once every 3-4 orders. Like sheesh.
It’s genuinely abysmal how horrible this location is at EVER getting online orders right.
Original review:
Pretty good, consistent quesada. I order from here semi regularly. However, if you order online, be aware that they do not check their special instruction for these orders. I have ordered the same thing from them via delivery no less than five times, and EVERY time i ask for refried beans and literally EVERY time they give me black beans. Obviously its not enough of an issue that I will stop ordering LOL but its enough to knock a star off because 5...
Read morePortions were a joke :( I asked for corn there was literally 8 pieces of it in my burrito, he could have just sprinkled it on like salt bae. Each time I asked for a diff topping I was flabbergasted by the singular pinch I would get. I like that they are open late, I was able to eat a burrito at 1030pm after jazz fest and I know working late shifts in fast food sucks. For this reason they get 3 stars instead of 1. However - I think the issue I experienced is due to management: They did not train their staff properly. There should be a measuring tool for each topping. I’ve worked resto jobs with skimpy managers but I’ve NEVER seen someone go so light on the portions, and all that for 12$. My burrito was really small compared to the burritos I get from other Quesada locations… At the end, one of the employees asked me to leave a 5 star review, “because previous customers gave us really bad reviews” and it makes me wonder why they felt responsible for the rating… again, makes me question management. I agree with the 1 star reviews, portions were a scam and I’d be even more disappointed if I was paying for my entire family. Canned corn and refried beans are not expensive,...
Read moreFirst time I have visited this restaurant. it had an interesting menu and appeared to be clean and well maintained but the entry-point experience was so demeaning I went to PizzaPizza down the street instead. This location is very close to east end of St. Catherine's Street and though interior was clean the store culture made you feel that they were looking down on you. Even though this area is marketed as touristy it is run down and often feels unwelcoming. This is another place that has one of those, IMO, degrading outside contolled locks to the bathroom without a visible inside lock. My guess is that sooner or later someone wiill let someone else in after they use it, while another person is assuming you just stand in line and wait for your turn, then he/she might wonder why there is no inside lock, and then someone else who does know you have to ask for clerk to open bathroom door with button from outside, walks in on someone. I avoid places with that kind of 'Big Brotherish' and possible gong show set up to...
