Traditional Arabic restaurant.
Parking lot and parking in general is difficult. Once you come in, you have to go past the kitchen to be signed in the wait list. The first room you enter, that's where people wait. Why that isn't part of the seating, Idk. They also have an outside area, but they don't utilize that either.
After waiting for 30 minutes, we were finally seated. No one came for quite a while. When they finally came, we ordered and that was fine.
The tea is excellent. It isn't bitter, it's not burnt, it's just absolutely right every time, no exception. The pickled turnips are on point, the best I've had. All the food is good, but specifically the large bread pieces with cheese, yogurt, and zatar.
Once you go to pay, they'll still ask for a tip. I don't understand, as we barely got any service?
The bathroom isn't well serviced. There are towels, but behind you there are some paper towels.
Overall, I'd say this place isn't worth the awful service. Sure, the food is excellent and on point, but is it worth the long long wait time and low quality of service? I don't think so. The restaurant is clearly understaffed, but they're not willing...
Read moreWe came here for Sunday brunch.
There's no reservations and the place is very small, they give you a number and you wait until they call you. We waited for about 30 mins and we were seated.
The place is very small that the tables are all so close to each other, you can clearly hear other ppls conservation, it's very loud and there's also alot of families with kids
If you are looking to go somewhere quit to eat brunch this is not the place to go.
When you seat down they give you tea, the tea wasn't to my liking at all. They don't offer glasses of water so we got bottle of water?
They also give you complimentary plate of olives, turnip, cucumber and tomatoes.
We ordered the spicy cheese and zahtaar sage, that was very good, I think it was my favorite. It was very big and came on a board.
We also got the professor lebneh, the tahini foul and the meat egg, they were okay nothing especially, the tahini foul was lemony, I felt like there was just too much lemon in there.
Will I go back I don't know, this is not a place you would go every week, it's a once a few...
Read moreAbsolutely at a loss of words to the customer service experience I just received. I came with my family a total of 5 people, 1 person out of the 5 was running a few minutes late , the waitress told us we were not allowed to be seated until the 5th individual came although we wanted to start ordering and there were 3 tables available in the dining room. She gave us a number and made us wait in another room, once the 5th person joined us a few minutes later we went back to the waitress and she then proceeded to tell us we now have to wait a minimum of 20 minutes because there was no more room for us to be seated. I have never in my life seen such lack for customer care and service as I just witnessed today from this experience. We asked the waitress why she made us wait for nothing and she proceeded to reply with ‘ nobody asked me the wait time ‘ , it is her job to advise customers clearly and not waste their time. Although my family and I were regulars we will not be coming here again after this horrible customer service. Truly disgusted. Do...
